Ahmed, his wife and the entire family made us feel at home, and treated us as family, they allowed us to experience the local Egyptian culture, we stayed for 6 days and enjoyed every minute, the entire family was very attentive to our needs and helped us with any questions we had. Ahmed made us a private tour package at a excellent price with a very knowledgeable tour guide. Ahmed wife cooked amazing, delicious meals for us, we ate better at magic place than any 5 star restaurants in our visit to Egypt. The property was very clean, very comfortable, the hot water and pressure was outstanding, linen very clean, well located in a typical Egyptian neighborhood, very safe and near all archeological sites. Ahmed thank you for allow us to be part of your family, we arrived as guess and departed as Family, we will definitely come back and stay at Magic place. We highly recommend Magic Place to everyone.

Breakfast was delicious, a fresh egg dish that tasted amazing. The bedrooms were painted really vibrant colours. The place has a lovely outdoor courtyard with a tree that you eat breakfast in. The host Nasser is really kind and made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. I did not feel pushed to do anything I didn't want to. Nasser helped organise a hot air balloon ride when I asked, he picked me up from the bus station when I arrived. The hotel also did my laundry for a small extra charge. I really felt at home at this hotel. The upper floors have a gorgeous view of the Nile and it's a relaxed place to be. Tea was offered sometimes without any charge. Overall, the best hotel I stayed at Egypt with tremendous value for money.

Villa Kaslan is SO beautiful. I had no idea it was going to be as special as it is. Our apartment was large and spotlessly clean. The area it’s in is quiet but very safe to walk around. Nobody hassles you like on the other side of the river and the staff were absolutely amazing. The food was delicious and the pool incredibly clean. One night I was feeling unwell and the staff bought our food up to our roof terrace so we could eat up there in peace. I can’t believe how cheap the price is for the incredible quality of service you get.
I could recommend this hostel for everyone. It is quite cheap, clean, with breakfast included into price and decent rooftop for rest or talk with other travellers. My room has very nice, big bathroom. The owner and his brother were very helpful and were able to resolve every problem. It is possible to order lunch, prepared with Egyptian lady. I felt there perfectly safe and taken care of.
Great location, very clean room and bathroom, staff very helpful and freindly especially the receptionist who helped me to book tours to west Bank and Hot air balloon with cheap price and good WiFi service.
One of the best hostels I have ever tried. The staff was very nice and co-operative. They were so generous with the food, snacks and pretty much the whole service. They gave us a free ride from and back to the train station. The camp vibe is great and the decorations are amazing. Overall it was and exceptional experience
Great helpful staff, allowed us to check in early and leave our luggage later. Amazing rooftop where we had breakfast, lovely people around and very comfy beds! Nice atmosphere in the hostel, people interacting with each other, great location in the city centre!
Great location, very friendly staff, restaurant upstairs was very convenient and decent. Super cheap and excellent value for money
Very close to the train & bus station. The location is great, even though the little street looks a bit rough. The staff is very helpful and they are trying their best to make sure you have a great stay. I would recommend booking trips through them. It's great value and less hassle. I felt safe and welcomed. The rooftop terrace is nice to chill and to meet other travelers. If you are looking for a modern hostel this is not for you though.
For me this is one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at. I was only supposed to stay for a few nights, but liked it so much I ended up staying for nearly two weeks. The owners Jamila and Mohamed are one of a kind and made me feel like home. They are so generous and will help you with anything. The hostel is only a few minutes walk from the train station and Go Bus station, and in walking distance of Luxor temple and other attractions. I’m already planning my next trip to Luxor and Sweet hostel!
A backpackers dream hostel. Close to good, local food. Crew helped us to visit Luxor’s treasures for a cheap price. Thank you for you’re hospitality, specially to you Mohammed. See you again.
