Staff we’re really friendly, everything was clean and breakfast super good! Location isn’t right at the centrum, but you walk there about 20 min. Area felt safe. Bed had curtains, reading light and plug, which is perfect!

Ester`s Place in Escazù. provides accommodation with, a garden and a terrace. All rooms boast a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. Ester is such a lovely owner. It's my second time there , room was huge, with good facilities. Perfect and very safe location , close to restaurants, cafe, medical services, and shopping.

The staff were so so cheerful and welcoming, I felt straight like being at home. The shared shower & toilet was spacious, and felt comfortable using. The kitchen, living room and several shared public spaces were really comfortable.

Gaudys Hotel is located 8 minutes’ walk from La Sabana Metropolitan Park and 2 km from San José City Centre. Free WiFi access is available in public areas. The stuff is so friendly, breakfast is great, beautiful green oasis in a loud and chaotic city, 10 mins walk from the airport. I will be back again & felt so safe and sound as a solo travelling woman. Good place to meet other travelers, too.

It is well located near to downtown and bus stations which is very convenient. The workers Cesar and Kenneth are amazingly kind and helpful. They are always ready to give orientation and advice. Also Laura on the weekends. The common areas are also clean and comfortable. Breakfast is included from 5 a.m. so you can have it before taking an early bus to other towns. You can have coffee or tea for free 24/7. In the evening you can order delicious pizza for a good price. I'll go back when visiting Costa Rica again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful with questions about San José, they even helped me find a way to get to other areas in Costa Rica. The hostel had a nice relaxed vibe and is always clean. There's an outdoor area that is beautiful and surrounded by nature and its great for socializing with everyone. It's in a nice area that is in walking distance from many things like Sodas, the mall, Barrio Escalante, etc. Overall awesome stay

The hostel was quiet, clean, and professional. The staff was delightful and helpful. The atmosphere was lovely with art and plants everyway. It was close to central San José, banks, grocery, and Sábana park.

Set in San José, within an 8-minute walk of San Juan de Dios Hospital and 1 km of Metropolitan Hospital Costa Rica, StrayCat offers accommodation with a shared lounge and free WiFi. I arrived late and had to leave very early the next morning. Staff was very friendly and informative and helped me with finding a bus. I also forgot to change my phone so woke up an hour early so the receptionist made me breakfast an hour early which was very nice of him
