Set in Santa Teresa Beach, 300 metres from Santa Teresa Beach, ICO Living Hostel offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. This place is a gem of a hostel. Great location, lovely people and it has all you need. There is a nice kitchen where you can meet people or make food. The room has AC and a comfy bed. The staff is soooo great at this place. We were well received and helped throughout our stay. I also recommend booking a surf lesson with the hostel, we had a great time. Thanks everyone!

Located in Pavones, 1.2 km from Playa Pavones, Hostel Esperanza provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. Esperanza is the best place I've stayed in Pavones yet! The owner Charlie is absolutely incredible. He was extremely friendly and went out of his way to get us anything we needed during our stay. We booked a private room and it was very clean with a massive bed and beautiful bathroom. Oh and free coffee in the morning which is always nice. The place is located right next to the break so you are able to take a quick walk to the surf. It also has a few soda's within a minute walk, a general store around the corner and a bar not too far as well. It has everything you need within a very short distance which makes the place such an ideal stay. The prices were also extremely reasonable compared to other places in the area. We had the best time and will definitely be coming back!!

Situated in Drake, GreenPoint Drake Bay has a garden, shared lounge, terrace, and free WiFi. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. I really Loved how quiet and nature immersive the place was and the owner was super nice and helpful. It was an experience and i cant wait to be back there! The place is a bit isolated- 3 km of an unpaved road from port and center of the village. You can either walk for a while or take a taxi. If you book your day trips and scuba with the Juan (the owner) he drives you there for free. He also picks you up and drops you down upon arrival and return. The rooms were nice and had a beautiful view and there was also a common area and kitchen. Bonus- It was the first place in central america where the pillows actually supported my injured neck.

Located in Monteverde, Costa Rica 15 min from the Santa Elena town , Hakuna Matata Guest House offers free WIFI all day. In reception you can by the activities and have a free info of the area. The host gave us a lot of advices, the breakfast and the tours.

Bolita Trails and Lodging offers accommodation in Dos Brazos de Rio Tigre, 14 km from Puerto Jimenez. The property offers 14 kilometers of hiking trails, adjacent to Corcovado park. I came as a guest and decided to stay as a volunteer. I sincerely enjoyed my time soaking in the nature and wildlife. There is so much hiking you can do, I recommend staying at least a few nights to enjoy it thoroughly. A special thanks to Ron the owner for his kindness and the other volunteers and guests for a beautiful experience. I look forward to coming again!

Located in Pavones, 500 metres from Playa Pavones, Surf Shack Room #1 provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. At the hostel, all rooms are equipped with a terrace. The location was fairly quiet as there wasn't much road traffic going by. There was AC and the shower had hot water, which my wife loved. The kitchen was an ample size and had everything we needed; even Tupperware to keep our extra food so we didn't leave it in the pans. The rooms didn't feel cramped and had shelf space to put our things. The beds we're comfy and the towels were soft. The covered common area outside the kitchen was a great place to eat and for my wife to work. We would stay here again.

Very good experiences with this overnight stay. Friendly and helpful. Low price to spend the night in paradise.
