I opted for a shared room, and I was delighted to find it clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated. One of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking views that greeted me each morning. Waking up to the sight of Lake Wakatipu shimmering in the sunlight was a true delight, and I often found myself lingering on the savoring the tranquility of the surroundings. I liked the lodge because I met some new friend come from anywhere around the world, and my new best friend nicknamed Nash, the manager of the reception , I think is the best manager ever, he is so friendly and always smiling, all the people love him, you must go to Aspen lodge backpacker

The manager and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Cosy common area. Really cool atmosphere in general. I totally recommand.

Very close to town. People were very friendly and everything is clean. They provide towels and there is hand soap. We checked in late and the manager was very good at giving us instructions to how to get into the building, also very nice way to explain the rules of the place which are excellent for people that just want to chill and have a quiet stay. Staff members are also very helpful and friendly.
