The old house is charming, the interior, wooden ceiling beams, the view from the huge kitchen window is great. There is everything you need, a large library for guests. It's quiet, peaceful around, well, maybe it's not the tourist season. If I travel through those places, I will definitely choose this hostel.DaliaSolo traveler

I can normally be a little wary of hostels or booking places that have a similar setup but La Casona de la Luz defied my expectations. In a cozy space with your own bathroom and hot water (very important to me) I had a great visit here... the kitchen is well stocked for cooking and making coffee, and overall the space is quiet and has a nice view of the city.
