Arrived at finca late, I came dying the low season so I was the only person there. As someone with very little Spanish and having been dropped off in the woods by a motor taxi across a river. (they're safe don't worry). I was a little skeptical and thinking "where the hell am I". I was quickly brought to my dorm room, no one was there - after coming from parting in Cali this was needed. I basically paid £9 or 45,000 pesos for a private ensuite Gonzalo looked after me and we had conversations through Google translate. He was so accommodating. Doing laundry, being attentive with delicious food. I would most certainly come back again. Remember to being cash - as most places in Tayrona take cash only. La Fonda were very accommodating and took care and so did Tayrona entrance I'd recommend this place to anyone, it is the essence on tranquil

An amazing hostel in the middle of the jungle, just a few minutes walk from the road between Santa Marta and Tayrona. A great family hosting you to make you feel at home away from home, wonderful vegetarian food, spacious rooms, super comfy beds, great laid back atmosphere, and don't forget to ask for the ginger beer...

Lovely host and nice river where you can swim and hang out. 20min walk to the main entrance of tyrona park.

the beds were comfy, they allow you to leave your pack when hiking tayrona, the staff were so helpful and amazing and breakfast was delicious and full of the needed nutrients for a long hike!!

If I could, I would give more than five stars. Zirumake is in the middle of the jungle, family owned and simply magical. I felt welcome from the first minute and extended my stay by another night (4 in total). Abuela Amalia is an amazing cook, and not just her arepas are exceptional. Thanks for the stay!

Stunning. Such lovely staff. Beautiful rooms and pool area. Restaurant is delicious and huge menu! Beautiful stay, would highly recommend! Also so many fruit trees and you can help yourself to Mangos!
