Less than a mile from John Lennon Airport, this family-run guest house is a 20-minute drive from Liverpool city centre. Gateway Lodge offers free parking and cosy rooms with free Wi-Fi. The location was very good. Just right to reach the airport (10-15 min of walking). I did not have breakfast but there were tea/coffee facilities in the room.

Great location on a lovely tree lined road a short walk from the town centre. Our hosts were very welcoming and did everything they could to make us feel at home. The room was lovely, very comfortable and spotlessly clean, great attention to detail and thoughtfully decorated. Breakfast was very good including a vegetarian option which we both appreciated and enjoyed very much, good hot coffee too!

Sapphire Home Stay features a shared lounge, as well as accommodation with free WiFi and a kitchen in Liverpool, 6 km from Royal Court Theatre. There is a shared kitchen and dining area. Location was great also the facilities!

In my experience, everything about this property is amazing. However, the winner for me, is the location (very, very close to the airport) and the attitude of the host, a very friendly, communicative, polite, extremely helpful gentleman, who goes out of his way to help the guests. I stayed here for a night, to catch my morning flight, and it was beyond worth it. I was greeted warmly by the host on a rainy evening, who generously offered me coffee just the way I preferred, thereafter, Richard offered to show me the fastest way to get to the airport to avoid the woes of morning flight. I remember feeling like I had the whole house to myself. The next morning, I could not believe how quickly I arrived walking to the airport, I walked super slow, looked around, clicked selfies, and what not within seven minutes; in 10 minutes, I was already at the security gate. I am grateful.

The Adelphi Guest House offers well-appointed accommodation on England’s north-west coast, just 2 minutes’ walk from Southport Theatre and Convention Centre. Caroline is an amazing host. Friendly, helpful, and always up for a chat. Would strongly recommend this place if you're staying in Southport.

The Ambassador Townhouse is set in the centre of Southport, and only 10 minutes' walk from Southport Rail Station. Can't wish anything better in terms of location. Hotel is very clean and well maintained. Warm welcome on arrival from host Tony and throughout our stay made us feel like visiting good old friend. Breakfast was exceptional with options to chose for each day and prepared to the high standard.
