Ellen and Corne were perfect hosts. Their hospitality was awesome. They tried their best to help making my stay easy and uncomplicated. For example they gave me a lift from my parking space, let me use their bike and rain clothes and so on. All in all my stay there was even better than expected. Thank you Ellen and Corne. Beautiful, clean, cozy and welcoming. Really could not imagine a nicer place to stay. Great location, easy to walk or catch a bus in. Fabulous hosts with amazing generous breakfast. Very well thought out with every need being met.

Villa Braas, was the perfect retreat in a gorgeous setting by Loosdrechtse Plassen. Our room overlooked the lake, with a large balcony that allowed us to really appreciate the stunning ever-changing views. The room, had tea, coffee facilities, and a small fridge with a welcome bottle of wine which was a lovely surprise. The room came with a super comfortable adjustable electric bed overlooking the gorgeous view. There was also a sofa to relax on, ample storage for clothes and a modern, clean bathroom with a shower and separate bath to relax in. Breakfast was really delicious. We enjoyed eggs, cheese, bread, jam, fruit juice and coffee or tea. Everything to set you up for the day. There are lots of great additions that you can book on site including a sauna, electric bike hire, boat hire and even a massage. The nearest town of Breukeleveen is close by and have some lovely shops and restaurants for dinner. It was my Birthday when we visited, and Ageeth surprised me with some delicious apple pie! Both Ageeth and John, were fantastic hosts and we wouldn't hesitate to return for another visit to their peaceful and beautiful home.
