Located adjacent to Lake Te Anau, Tasman Holiday Parks - Te Anau offers a children’s playground, a hot tub and BBQ facilities. All accommodation features a flat-screen TV. We had a three-bedroom, two bathroom unit (apartment 51) and it was super comfortable. The location is very close to all town restaurants.

The cabin had a great view of the lake and the mountains, the interior was charmy and thoughtful. The host was very helpful, provided us with everything we needed and even let us borrow 3 kajaks free of charge. For the Lord of the Rings fans: the crew used to stay at this place when they were filming nearby (scene for the Anduin river; perfect way to use the kajaks and to have the fellowship experience yourself). At the reception you can find the original thank you letter from Peter Jackson and the crew as well as some of the requisites used in the movie.

Situated in Riverton, Riverton Holiday Park features a garden and barbecue. The property is only a 10-minute walk from Taramea Bay. Easy to access, camp set up Well built cabins (warm and spacious) *Kids playground indoors and outdoors *Historic set of National Geographic magazines (dates from early 60s, great collection)

Located beside the river, where guests can go fishing, kayaking and swimming, Fiordland Great Views Holiday Park offers barbecue facilities and a children's playground. Freedom to come and go as I pleased. Camp kitchen was excellent everything was available didn't have to use any of my own gear utensils etc, Great place to camp for safety and convenience. Thankyou

The Invercargill Holiday Park & Motels is situated in quiet rural surroundings, just a short 5-minute drive from the town center. It was a great little spot. We were just quickly stopping the night so didn't get to explore much around the accommodation but were very happy with the service and facilities

Mountains Edge Cabins is located in Southland's Blackmount district in the picturesque village of Monowai. The property is located betwenn Lake Manapouri and Lake Monowai, south of Te Anau. Merrill was super accommodating! The huts were comfortable and exactly what we were looking for. The shared kitchen and bathroom was tidy and well kept. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would both return in a heartbeat! Great launching pad to go and check out hikes in the surrounding area.
