Set within a stunning historic rainforest and walking track, Jackson's Retreat Alpine Holiday Park offers 5-star accommodation with access to a garden and a barbecue. What a wonderful place to stop for the night. We stayed in one of the cabins which was compact but very comfortable. The shared facilities were fantastic, very clean with everything you need. Amazing views and 25 min hike up to the waterfall was lovely.

Situated in Ross, 23 km south of Hokitika, with some of the worlds most beautiful and rugged coastlines, Ross Beach Top10 Holiday Park is an absolute beachfront property with limited WiFi availability... A very nice stay, directly at the beach. There are grills at each cabin + great kitchens, a big grill and a pizza oven for all guests. We can recommend it and would come back.

Situated on a working farm, Smiths Farm Holiday Park offers accommodation surrounded by rolling hills and rural gardens. Beautiful spot, peaceful, welcome muffin great touch, animals were friendly, bonus of awesome walk up to waterfall which was magical.

Was supplied with a sufficient amount of towels. Kitchen is fully stocked. Supplied me with an oscillating fan upon request. Loved sitting on back patio in mornings. Access to sauna and hot tub. Easy in-person check-in. Also had easy after hours check-in, if needed. Close proximity to town; walking to downtown 25min.

Set in the Motueka area and within 15 minutes driving of Kaiteriteri beach, Terraced Chalets offers accommodation with views of Riwaka Valley. Free Wi-Fi is available in each chalet. Terraced Chalets was the perfect place for us to base ourselves to see this area. The chalet is comfortable and very clean. We like to cook, so we made all our meals. The facilities allowed this to work perfectly. The porch was the perfect place to eat and enjoy the view. It was the hosts who made our stay extra special. Jane was there to check us in and make sure we had everything we needed.

Even though I did not meet the staff, the communication was excellent with clear instructions on after hours access.
