Great and hospitable owner, we were running late for check in he didn't mind to stay 25 minutes after working hours (10PM). Rooms and bathrooms are basic, but spacious and clean, with all what you need for few days active stay. Heating is sufficient, TV working with plenty of channels. Breakfast is royal for the price, with plenty of choice, and lots of tea, milk and coffee. Dinner menu is also good, food is delicious and portions are big.

Guest house Stara lipa Tašner - free parking & kitchenette is located 1.2 km from the Pohorje Ski Resort, and 4 km from the centre of Maribor. We thank the owners for the good conditions, sunny rooms, warmth and cleanliness. Each room includes a small balcony with a table and chairs. Ksenia helped us with all the little questions - such as orientation in the city, and basic markings on the map, and was always in touch. The reception includes a cosy place to relax or freelance. We easily got from the city center by bus, the stop is near to the hotel. There is a wonderful restaurant in the courtyard of the guesthouse, with its own history and delicious traditional food.Within walking distance there are shops, oriental cuisine and incredible scenery for walking. If you are looking for comfort and peace this is the place for you. Nearby are mountains, streams, a ski resort, beautiful landscape and the opportunity to stroll in the cozy neighborhoods of mountain dwellers. We recommend.

Il Rooms Hiša Divino è una pensione situata a Ptuj. Offre sistemazioni con connessione Wi-Fi gratuita nel centro di Ptuj. Alcune sistemazioni vantano un balcone con vista. Soggiornato solamente una notte causa tempi ridotti per il nostro viaggio ma siamo rimasti molto contenti della struttura. Si trova in ottima posizione, vicinissima al centro, non ha parcheggio privato ma ce ne sono un paio pubblici a due passi. La nostra camera nel sottotetto non era di grandi dimensioni ma pulita, molto intima, graziosa e colorata. Alla reception il personale è stato molto accogliente e cordiale. Se proprio si vuol fare un appunto, riguarda il bagno che è un pò piccolo.

Situato in un idilliaco villaggio di Jurij, a 1 km dal confine austriaco, il Guest House Vračko è una struttura a conduzione familiare risalente al 1908 e dotata di un ristorante alla carta con piatti... The rooms were very large, modern and absolutely spotless. The owners and staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The attached Restaurant is well worth the visit with great wines from just around the corner and the dishes go well beyond what one can expect on a country side stay. We were a bit worried about the windows facing the road, but they are isolating well and there was hardly any traffic. Wonderful green nature all around.

It was a pleasure to visit this location, to have a long chat with the host and enjoy delicious food of generous portions. There was no actual menu, just trust and good vibes; and we were not disappointed! A mix of regional history, good humor and the home-grown produce made for an awesome experience. On Gregor's advice we visited Ptuj city, an amazing underrated place.
