A lot of light in the room (one can use curtains of course) and a wonderful exit from the room directly onto the lawn in front of the house where one can sit in a chair and enjoy the sun. Friendly and helfpul hosts. Great bathroom fittings. The room is a simple but stylish design and had everything we needed during our stay. The bed is big and comfortable. Cleanliness. A dedicated room for bicycles in the house.

It was a home away from home, with really beautiful details and highlight. Comfy space, great location, right near a walkway through the forest and the beach on the other side. The apartment has all the amenities you would want. Our host was really helpful and delightful, we were greeted with complementary sweets and coffee was included in the stay (for the Nespresso machine). All in all, one of the best placed I've stayed in so far.

Upon arriving at Pension de Wadvaarder (through the back gate), you’ll enter into a cozy living room and dinning area. Gerrit & Annemieke have a great sense of style and it shows throughout the property, including the garden. The bedroom was spacious and had a small reading room with books (in Dutch). For breakfast you are provided a checklist of items to choose from which are then freshly assembled for you in the morning. The items are excellent quality, some derived from Terschelling (cheese, cranberry compote, eggs…) - lekker! The pension is close to the village center and bus stop. Hikes on the dike, in the forrest, on the dunes, and beach are easily manageable. Of course you can also bike if you want to move around faster and farther.
