The owners of the gutesthouse where super friendly, i felt like home there. They helped me with the planning of short trips around the peninsula, gave me a lot of tipps and answered all my questions. If i could, i would have stayed much longer! The village is very calm and peaceful, and with a short trainride you can go to all the other villages and places around the peninsula. There was a great small onsen right around the corner, the shower was great, we loved the capsule beds. I could have used a little thicker mats, but really nice. The staff was amazing.

Apart from 1)the glorious ocean view(the host upgraded our room into one with ocean view) 2)free pick up from nearby places, which many comments have already mentioned, what I really appreciated is that the host was really trying to make our stay more pleasant. There was no toothbrush cup when we first got there, and my friend left her toothbrush on the table when we went out. When we went back she found her toothbrush put in a lovely small toothbrush cup. That was so sweet! The place itself was very nice as well, the weather was pretty good during our stay and we saw many stars at night, perfect place for getting away from the cities and enjoying nature.

Fuji, this guest house is conveniently located just a minute's walk from JR Fujinomiya Station. Family house with a lot of room. Beds were very confortable, and kitchen was well equipped. Great location to catch bus to mt. fuji (3 min walk to both bus station and train station). Staff were great.

J-Garden features a tennis court, a garden and a private-use hot spring bath, a 11-minute walk from Tomito port. The property houses café and a hot tub, while rooms come with hot spring water in the bathroom. We had a very cozy and relaxed stay at J-Garden, though we had to change our room once because the first room was too enclosed. The hosts where kind and understanding, and this place is absolutely a gem. It's in walking distance to the coastline hike and by car (or public transport) you got a lot of opportunities too see the beauty of this Peninsula.
