I loved everything about this place. Absolutely the highlight of my trip. And funny enough, there was no other guests so I had the whole place to myself! The town is very cute and the house is just incredible. It had everything a person could ask for in an accommodation. Everything works perfectly. The design is very beautiful. The house is even more beautiful in real life. I will never forget it. I think I told Assi how much I loved it too many times :) Assi was the most helpful host, he was very friendly, curious to know about my trip, he even picked me up from the station when I unfortunately missed the train. And dropped me off to the bus stop when I wanted to visit the near village. I hope to visit it again in future. Thank you again, thank you very much.

Guest House Motomiya er staðsett í Magome-hverfinu í Nakatsugawa, 20 km frá Enakyo Wonderland og 40 km frá Japan Taisho-þorpinu. Boðið er upp á hljóðláta götuútsýni og sameiginlega setustofu. This was probably our favourite overnight stay of our entire trip. The hosts were lovely, the food was fantastic, the room and beds were incredibly comfortable. If we could have we would have happily stayed longer. We have no doubt that we intend to go back in the future.

The room is super comfortable for a cheap price. There's also a comfy lounge room that has TV and other entertainment. The kitchen has microwave, refridgerator etc, so we bought our own food, heat it up in microwave and ate in the lounge room. The host is very friendly and always ready to help. After we check out, he immediately went to clean the room. The parking lot is big.

Guesthouse Nedoko er gististaður í Nakatsugawa, 21 km frá Ōatsi og 21 km frá Enakyo Wonderland. Þaðan er útsýni til fjalla. Great little guesthouse! The location is perfect, the staff very helpful and booked an amazing dinner for us.

Guesthouse Gifu SUAI er staðsett í Gifu, 29 km frá Nagoya-kastalanum og 30 km frá Nagoya-stöðinni. Boðið er upp á garð og útsýni yfir innri húsgarðinn. Hosts are friendly, warm, accomodating and attentive. Very clean and homely. Lively pets around, which was a welcomed change :) A 30 min walk from Gifu JR, hosts happily dropped us to the station at checkout. I believe you can organise pick up and drop off with the host. Regardless, a 30 min walk on flat ground is completely possible and should not deter anyone. However there is a local line which is 13 min walk from the house.

A 6-minute walk from JR Takayama Train Station, 力車イン Rickshaw inn offers non-smoking Japanese rooms and Western rooms with free Wi-Fi, an LCD TV and a private bathroom. A free-use kitchen is on site. Close to all sightseeing and restaurants. Laundry facilities were available. It's a 7 minute walk to the train station.

GUESTHOUSE YANAGIYA er staðsett í Nakatsugawa, 21 km frá Ōi og 21 km frá Enakyo Wonderland og býður upp á loftkælingu. Location is fantastic. Room was very comfortable. Futons and sheets extremely comfortable. Host was very accommodating and even prepared a small breakfast for us very early before our hike. Best of all was his effort to get a dinner reservation for us at an exceptional restaurant in walking distance. Fantastic meal and experience in a small village that closes up early.
