A recently renovated guest house located in Grasse, Un palmier à sa fenêtre features a garden. The breakfast was a delight ! We sat in our hostess’s garden under the shade of her market umbrella at the back of the property and could not help but enjoy her impeccable good taste. The selection of food and the attractive environs that she offered was partly from her experience as a designer but more I believe from her natural warmth and genuine desire to spoil us as her guests. I still keep thinking of our stay and hope very much to return one day to have Sonja treat us once again to her perfumed muslin sheets ! I thought they were just for babies ! But it was Grasse after all ! The living is all done at the back of this lovely old freestanding symmetrical French property and facing on to the garden, where it is quiet away from the road and with some views ( enter through the central iron gates and down the path on the LHS ) we found it easy to walk from the property up the hill a manageable distance to the various attractions of historic Grasse.

This lovely home/resort enveloped me in hospitality and became a short term home for a lovely life of five days. Every moment was a delight. The breakfast can't be matched! Valerie and Frederick kindly solved problems and pointed me in the direction of three neighboring restaurants that were magnificent.. The town is fabulous, a short wasl away. The pool is heavenly. Great bedding in the room. I would happily go back.

The hosts were warm, friendly and accommodating. The breakfasts were good with homemade breads, Sweets and jams with perfect cappuccinos!! A very quiet neighborhood and can reach restaurants and waterfront within 10min drive.

La posizione della villa è incantevole con una vista sul golfo mozzafiato.La piscina è molto bella e da lì si può godere di questa stupenda busta. l’ appartamentino è piccolo ma dotato di ogni confort. Francois è estremamente accogliente e disponibile, al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato in frigo acqua e una bottiglia di vino che abbiamo gustato la sera ammirando il tramonto dal nostro patio attrezzato con divani e lettini. La mattina ci ha preparato una colazione squisita che era quasi num pranzo. torneremo sicuramente!!
