It felt at times more like a really good air BnB than a hostel as there weren't loads of travellers staying for much of the time I was there - but those who were there were mostly lovely and it was good for socialising. As other commenters have said, the house itself is actually an antique, a piece of local history, and very beautiful. The old pictures on the wall in the dormitory are of Monika's great grandparents who founded Jardín. Monika has a heart of gold and is a vibrant character within the fabric of this paradise town. She went out of her way to help me with whatever I needed. Her puppy and two cats are so cute too. Beds are basically double beds. Rooms get cleaned every day. Beautiful garden out the back too for chilling/eating breakfast etc.

I really loved this place. It's very quiet and peaceful (certainly compared to the hustle and bustle of Medellin). Carlos was very kind and accommodating, and Juan was very helpful and considerate, as well.
