We were visiting for the Cape Epic and used 4 Piet Retief as a base before and at the end of the race. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, finding secure spaces for our bikes and large bike bags, and even storing our bike bags in between our stays. The property was a calm and comfortable oasis to relax after hard days of racing. It is a short walk to the main downtown of Stellenbosch. We would highly recommend 4 Piet Retief to anyone staying in the Stellenbosch area, and would stay here again on a return visit

My highlight was definitely Libby!! She is an amazing human 🙌🏾. She was accommodating, professional, kind and funny! She made our stay so special as did the rest of her team. The rooms were luxurious and clean. The breakfasts were on point and location/proximity to restaurants/shops ideal! Drinking wine by the fireplace in the evenings was always an anticipated part of the day. The whole experience was a 10/10 for me.

We like everything about this guesthouse. It is very new and the interior design is very modern. All facilities are of top quality and in good condition. The staff is very professional and friendly. Breakfast is splendid. The view is amazing. ...and there is a very cute cat guarding the properties.
