This place is absolutely stunning!! It defenitely exceeded our expectations! Yes it’s a 15min drive on a gravel road but hey guess what!? You’re in south Africa! You don’t even need a 4x4, it’s so much worth the short drive when you see this hidden gem in real life. Pictures don’t do it justice! Everything was well maintained and clean, the hosts were very friendly and they offered us to join the braai since we didn’t think about bringing our own food. Would defenitely recommend this place to everyone seeking a beautiful and hidden spot!

A wonderful place to stay! Leon and his wife are ones of the most hospitable people on Earth! Always ready to help, give a piece of advice about where to go and what to do around the town and the region. We had only one night in the Ravenscliff Manor, but it was really great. The Manor itself is quite impressive, it seems that you stay in a kind of hacienda of 18th century. The pool, which very thoroughly cared of by Leon, is just exactly what you need on a hot summer day. The rooms are clean and very cosy. The breakfast is beyond any expectation, absolutely delicious and just outstanding.

We liked everything, great value for money. Clean room, good location close to the main road (but still quiet), nice little splash pool and garden. What in times of growing load shedding times becomes more important: they had an inverter which is really handy. It can become a problem if you arrive at your guest house after a long day and you aren't able to charge your smart phone phone and aren't even able to put on some lights to see what's in your luggage.

Everything, warmly greeted, good conversation, great place, room upgraded, was able to stay extra night, good local advice and tourism recommendations drove swartberg pass based on that recommendation, brilliant. Great breakfast, comfortable surroundings, nice pool easy parking and access to town and shopping, shopping was walking distance, nice neighborhood.
