It is very nice newly open hotel in a quiet place, far from noise but close to the centre of Ayvalik. There is always domestic water at the facility (there is a problem in Ayvalik with water supply) due to availability of water reservoirs, so you never have problem with taking shower. The host is very interesting person, erudited, who you can have a nice talk during the evening tea or cup of coffee in the backyard of the property. We had no problems by leaving our bags at the early arrival, and leaving the stuff till evening after checkout in the reception.

We loved the breakfast, a magnificent spread served on a table in front of the fireplace, with a selection of delicious dishes, jams, cheeses, breads, with pancakes and omelettes as optional. The bedroom under the rafters was large and practical. We received excellent tips on where to go, including the Kozak (Cossack) road to Bergama, a backway through the mountains. The bed was comfortable, the shower excellent and the house was beautiful.

The hotel is very antic and stylish, located in a beautiful place (lovely little chain of streets). The hotel staff is very amiable, helpful and speaks English (big advantage). The breakfast is traditionally Turkish, extremely tasty and substantial. If you travel by car, you have to be prepared to find a parking lot somewhere around as it is very narrow in these little streets close to hotel.

Amazing location right on the sea. Good clean rooms and friendly staff. For overnight parking continue further into the centre of town and park at Migros carpark for a fee.

We only stayed for one night on our travels around Turkey but absolutely loved it. Ayhan and his team are the epitome of Turkish warmth, kindness and hospitality and they make this place a real delight. The property is just above the beautiful old town but very quiet and surrounded by gorgeous gardens. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast, truly outstanding - all home-made, local and delicious. Thank you Ayhan - we will be back for sure. Highly recommended.
