Everything was very close to the guesthouse so traveling from one place to the other was no problem. The guesthouse was very beautiful with amazing staff that was immensely helpful.

Amazing hanok stay in the heart of Gyeongju, but on a side street, so it was peaceful and quiet. The bed is of course a futon, don't expect a normal bed, because it is a traditional house. The owners are extremely kind, they kept our luggage for the night when we stayed at a temple and afterwards on the last day for the whole afternoon after the check out. There are only a few rooms and this is what makes it special. We really enjoyed the stay and would definitely recommend it to everyone! It is a must do when in Gyeongju!

We enjoyed our hanok stay. It's clean, safe and cozy. The best part is experiencing the traditional way of living. The owner gave us a lot of tips about the surroundings and we had some delightful conversations :) Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience authentic hanok living with a personal touch!

A fantastic experience! I ended up staying for 5 nights here. The owner went well beyond requirements to make sure my stay was a good one. Very sweet and helpful despite not speaking much English (and my Korean being crap). The place is very clean and comfortable, good AC, good common area, excellent breakfast and very friendly and laid- back in general. I prefer to stay in places frequented more by local tourists than international ones and this place was perfect in that sense. No boring and hackneyed backpacking stories, just good insight into Korean culture from other guests. I've been lucky enough to be able to explore much of Asia at a snail's pace and this hostel was a top experience for me. Thanks for your kindness and hospitality! As for the town, there are some great things to see, most of all the. National Museum, the park with the tombs and the temple outside town. Also a great small 2 building museum in a park near the hostel which goes into detail on how the tombs were built. The hanok part of town I found a bit disappointing, mainly due to overcrowding and a theme park like feel to it- I much preferred the one in Jeonju to Gyeongju but enjoyed Gyeongju overall and, obviously, the guest house!

Great guesthouse experience in traditional style home with modern interior. Rooms are simple futons on the floor (with Korean heated floors). Extremely friendly host, she only speaks Korean. Free onsite parking, bus to downtown and stations are right across the street. Lovely common area. Property is right against national park for tranquility. Wifi available. Free ramen, coffee, tea available. A+ stay for a traditional Korean feel! There is also a woman's only dorm downstairs

A spotlessly clean Pension in a lovely location with a dedicated, fantastic host. A very quiet location for those looking to unwind or experience a slower side to Korea, or a break after time in the bigger cities. Our room was large, and very well equipped, including small kitchenette, fridge, large TV, well equipped wet room, dinning table etc. It was spotlessly clean. The rest of the building we experienced (outdoor areas, garden etc) were also maintained to a very high standard. Outside at the property is a large decked area with seating overlooking a lovely wooded valley. There is a large parking area for those arriving by car. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend for travellers looking for something on the slower side for a few days. A couple of notes for potential guests: the property is in a more rural location, and so ideally needs a car or taxi for access. We used a taxi from Gyeongju which took 15/20mins and was reasonably priced. The Pension does not serve evening meals and so guests should either bring supplies or be prepared to travel to a local restaurant. These are not complaints! Just notes. The advert describes the accommodation well. We saw the pool, but travelling out of the summer season so this was not in use at the time. I’m sure it would be an excellent additional facility in the hot Korean summers! We would highly recommend this Pension!
