This place is perfect if you wish to socialize with fellow travelers! Very clean place, ample connectivity options, as well as spacious sleeping quarters. Just bring an extra extension cable, as power connections tend to get filled up fast, due to the number of people connecting their laptops to the place. I can't recommend this place enough! Access to the train station is also reasonable and is a 15-minute walk from the guesthouse to Kameari station. Also, if your birthday falls during your stay, the host will celebrate it by setting up a small dinner for you! :D Very personal touch to a very wonderful experience!

The house structure is interesting (in a good way) We got all the amenities like in the hotels. Everything is clean. We had our first experience on Tatami flooring & how to lay a futon. Unlike other self check-in home stay, Kazuki-san is very friendly that he greeted us himself and we had a small chat which I feel warmly welcomed.

The owner, Satoshi, is a lovely person! He was very helpful and knowledgeable for someone who has never travelled to Japan (or anywhere out of Australia for that matter!) made my first overseas hostel a great experience. His English is great too! The other guests were also kind and easy to spend time with in the communal area, I think this place attracts nice people haha

AMAZING ! You must meet them Yasuhiko , Chieko , Yuki and the dog ahah 🥰 Unique experience . We feel like at home , we feel like their children ✨ We came for our last night in Japan to make it memorable . This family is the kindest that we ever met 🥰 ! The welcome , the hospitality , everything was so unique . The Ryokan is wonderful , the room was so comfortable . Thank you again !
