What a lovely surprise of a property! The host met me to help me with my bags. I stayed in the one bedroom apartment, it has a sofa bed in the living room, is modern, air conditioned, large TV, and is bright with balconies from both the bedroom and living room overlooking the water. Walking distance to a pebble beach and also small little swim spots along the waterfront road. They lent me a beach umbrella, and had beer as a welcome amenity, nice touch. I just loved the atmosphere of the small town, a 10 minute (flat) walk into town for meals. The town is also the Sumartin car ferry back to Makarska on the mainland heading back south toward Dubrovnik. I hope to bring my family to Croatia since this was my first visit here, and I would bring them to Villa Adagio.

The villa is perfectly located in the middle of Sumartin. Everything is reachable in walking distance (resteraunts, supermarket, beach etc.). The garden and pool area is super clean and well-maintained. The rooms are super clean as well and the hand-picked old wooden furniture pieces create a comfortable ambience. The owner of the villa is around when you need him, very kind, and always willing to help (e.g. helped us to get the ferry last minute to catch our flight). Overall, it was one of the best stays we had in Croatia so far (and we were at least 10 times in Croatia). We will most likely come next year again.

The apartment was really nice, had everything you need .we had the downstairs apartment which included our own private terrace with view of the sea ❤️ The location was perfect.. only 5 min walk to the beach or to the restaurants/shops . The owners where lovely, very welcoming. Would highly recommend

lovely place to stay. 2 minutes from a little beach and the main port with all the restaurants and little shops / tourist office. very friendly accommodating staff- we asked to check out a little later as we had a later boat to catch and they were very accommodating which we appreciated. if you walk 10 minutes there’s an even better bigger beach also. we also took a motorbike to Bol and the golden horn beach, super lovely views and a great stay, clean rooms and all facilities worked great
