This tented camp exceeded all of our expectations. The tents were beautiful - had everything we needed. We booked a river tent and so glad we did, the view was breathtaking and we were lucky enough to have elephants cross the river and walk right past our little balcony. The bed was v comfy, wifi was spotty but better than we expected considering we were in the bush. Staff were amazing - Hazel was brilliant and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. This is a self catering camp so be sure to stock up before arriving so you don’t need to leave the park (there’s a big shopping mall is Hazeyview which is about an hour from the Kruger gate). Stayed for three nights and loved every minute. Can’t wait to come back!

The unit has 2 beds. וואו! איזה מקום לא מהמציאות! קודם כל, יפה שם כלכך! שנית, כולם כלכך שירותיים ונחמדים. כל נסיעה לטבע ראינו חיות, לא משנה הטמפרטורה (היו ימים של 20 מעלות וימים של 40 מעלות בסופש שהיינו). סיבה גדולה לכך היה הנהגים/הגששים של השמורה. האוכל טעים! יש תפריט בחדר ובמידה ולא אוהבים מנה ניתן להזמין מהשף משהו אחר, כך גם מנות ילדים. ניקיון מושלם, פעמיים ביום נכנסים לסדר ולנקות את החדר. והדבר שאנחנו הכי אהבנו הוא הבריכה.. לשבת במים ביום של 40 מעלות ופשוט לצפות בפילים וג׳ירפות ועוד המון חיות אשר מגיעים להתרחץ גם הם במאגר המים שנמצא כלכך קרוב למלון. אנחנו הגענו ברכב ויש להם חנייה בכניסה לשמורה ואכן מאובטחת.

Although it's a tent, it has all the hotel facilities inside, and the service is also very high standard. The three meals are also very good. I even ran into an antelope on the less than 100 meter road to dinner one day. Of course, if it's just these hardware, this Lodge won't leave a very prominent impression. Safari's tour guide will do everything possible to help you find animals. They share information about animal presence and will not rush back due to a 3-hour time limit. Before coming to Kruger, we had seen some animals in Chobe and on our first day here, we collected big five, which we were quite satisfied with. But the next morning Safari collected big five at once, and the luckiest thing was to see a group of five lions, who were located on the border of their private territory. I sincerely recommend the highly cost-effective Umkumbe bush lodge, and I believe I will always remember the beautiful memories here.

Isambane was absolutely amazing! The whole experience was beyond words! The staff is extremely accommodating, and above all, just wonderful! The guides are on a whole new level out here, they are very knowledgeable about everything in the Bush! Also, this was my friend’s first time in South Africa and he said that we couldn’t have had a better experience than Isambane! We give it 100 stars! The food was also excellent and be sure to try the best mojito I’ve ever tasted! Also! The beds were super comfortable! I am definitely bringing my whole family to experience how truly incredible the camp and staff are!

Absolutely wonderful stay at Mountain View Safari Lodge!! It is absolutely gorgeous!! Perfect place to relax, take in the natural surroundings and nourish the soul!!

This tent features a tea/coffee maker, private entrance and seating area. This hotel is a sight to be seen. I felt like I was staying in a multi-thousand dollar-a-night hotel within the game reserve. The decorations, the size of the room, the bed, the cotton sheets, and the view of monkeys and other animals outside my sliding glass door. The amenities provided in the rooms made you never want to leave. I have had coffee in the morning on my private balcony in my bathrobe after my wonderful hot shower in the luxurious bathroom. At night we sat by the pool drinking wine after our dinner. This exceptional hotel is the best-valued hotel I have ever visited.

A wonderful location with very friendly staff, providing everything you need and more. We loved the warm welcome, the great view over Olifant river from the restaurant and our Rhino Tent. We felt pampered by the good care that was taken of us and loved the game drives.

The property was in Manyaleti and there were no fences. The animals were free to move around. We had hyenas, giraffe, elephants and lots of birds in our camp. Our game driver, Beksom, was unbelievable in the way he was able to find all the animals. We loved the simplicity of the camp. All the meals were excellent.
