This tent has a barbecue. Featuring a bar, outdoor pool and garden with BBQ, Urban Camp is 3 km from Windhoek city centre. Atmosphere and location is amazing! The facilities were clean and we had a wonderful room in a huge tent equipped with fridge and safe. Loved the bar area with a small water hole and beverages. We could not have their food as the kitchen was closed due to bank holiday but they still offered wraps and sandwiches.

A gorgeously landscaped property conveniently located in Windhoek. The staff were friendly, the rooms very clean, and the restaurant yummy. My kids were the only one playing in the pool (aged 9, 12 and 14) and were asked to be quiet because of a conference. They weren’t being louder than kids playing in a pool. A little frustrating when the construction workers on their cottage not 100 feet away from the pool were grinding concrete and that was LOUD. Other than that small issue, the space has everything and all different types of lodging…..rooms, self-catering cottages, “glamping tents, camping spots and more.

I'm from London, UK and was DELIGHTED to spend an entire month living here - as a digital nomad - in my safe, cosy, private, glamping tent under the canopied shade of a sprawling camelthorn tree. FREE WiFi, access to a huge swimming pool, FREE breakfast (poolside at Roosters - across the road), wonderful staff (I love you Mercia!), access to an enormous kitchen, laundry facilities in site, private bathroom (no sharing), 5mins walk from a huge supermarket (and other shops, cafés and restaurants), FREE parking and live music across the road at Utopia on the weekends. The absolute bonus for me was daily bootcamp classes at 6:30pm (behind Roosters) and twice-daily yoga classes 15 minutes walk away with Suzi Seha (https://www.suziseha.com/). Bliss. Great value for money at 380NAD per night. My very own secret slice of Namibian paradise!

Very nice place with friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful sunsets. Our very large house had everything we needed and more. Too bad we only stayed for 1 night. Delicious breakfast and very tasty dinner.
