The owner used the COVID lockdown to fit thousands of pebbles everywhere, turning the place into a gorgeous hideaway. The safari arranged is particularly good as the driver used is a veteran of the park. He arranges breakfast at a beautiful lodge, in the park, halfway throug your safari. Unique and only possible because he knows the people.

We have travelled all over Sri Lanka and being nature fans this was our best stay by far. The commodities are quite basic but what you would expect being in total seclusion in the wild. The staff go above and beyond for you and the chef is the best chef by far, it was just incredible to have food of such quality in such a remote area. The morning is when you can sit relax and watch crocodiles pass by and there ate also monkeys and a family of water monitors. The safari with was above and beyond it was just fantastic. The prices for everything were really good. Just a tip if you book and fancy wine or beers make sure to order beforehand. I would recommend this place to everyone thinking of glamping in sri lanka as it exceeded our expectations and more Thankyou to the whole team for giving us a time to remember.

A great area in front of the beautiful river. Good value for money, dinner was very good!! And the staff is very friendly. The beds are comfortable and the room is very clean! We took a safari with them and it was great. Totally recommend it

Offering an all - Suite immersive, luxury, wilderness living experience in Sri Lanka, Ahaspokuna is located in Belihul Oya, 22 mi from Nuwara Eliya. Bandarawela is 17 mi from the property. The staff were superb. charming, kind and very knowledgeable. Avinka was incredible, his enthusiasm for the wildlife and leading us on our trek through the wilderness to find over 17 elephants was such a thrill. Mr Kumana was also so helpful and a great guide. the chef was very talented, considering we were in the jungle, the meals he created for us were some of the best we have had during our stay in Sri Lanka. Everyone we met during our two nights stay were just the sweetest people. The entire experience was fantastic and we totally recommend this place to anyone wanting to enjoy the joys of the Sri Lankan jungle with 5 star accommodation and food.

This resort is an absolute gem and a must stay if you are visiting Udawalawe National Park. For an affordable price you get to stay at a luxurious glamping style resort. The rooms were clean, beautifully designed and a delight. The food was amazing from the options available to the flavour. As well the service from the staff was some of the best I’ve ever received. The big highlight from this experience was the safari we booked with the resort. If you book the safari ask for Lasantha. He is the best driver and safari tour guide ever. He really went out of his way to create the best experience for us. He is top notch!!!

Offering river views, this fan-cooled tent has a private entrance, seating area and extra large bed with spring mattress. It includes a hot water shower, towel and shoe racks. People were really friendly and helped us by everything, nice accommodation and two swimming pools :) We would come for sure again! We expired for two more nights :)

Athgira River Camp is located at the door step of Udawalawe National Park with views of Rakwana River. It’s very close to Udawalawe reservoir and to the Elephant Orphanage. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was good and the pool area was nice. They arranged the safari to Udawalawe National Park. The driver took us around the park.

Offering a barbecue and views of the garden, River Glamping by Gaga bees is located in Udawalawe in the Ratnapura District Region, 8 km from Udawalawe National Park. This was one of the most peaceful, lovely experiences during my trip around Sri Lanka. The tents were well equipped, spacious, and comfortable and made for a peaceful nights sleep. Madu the manager was so kind and helpful! The service and food was excellent- homemade traditional sri lankan food in big portions. We had a lovely time wandering around and going for a swim in the river with the friendly dog Lola. We would like to thank Madu and everyone at the property for their hospitality. We will definitely be coming again! Great glamping experience.

This unique tent is set on the border of the National Park and comes with a private bathroom. The place was really awesome. We had a great time with family.

Featuring carpet flooring, tents come with an outdoor living area and a private bathroom with hot-water showers. Includes a torch, umbrellas and a luggage rack. The manager of the camp was extremely kind and available to chat, to show us around. The tent are perfect: very big and with all the services you might want. The food was very good. We had the best experience. Couldn’t ask for anything different!
