The Place Taichung is ideally located in West District, one of the most visited areas in Taichung City. Clean, spacious, in a seemingly quieter part of town but not too far away from interesting places & food. Enough elevators to serve. Having parking within the building/ on site is really a plus, albeit a little tight but clean & new. If their parking is full, street parking seems plentiful & available (coz they're in a less busy part of town) & there's parking lot across from the hotel, & the hotel will reimburse your parking fees if parked away from theirs. Breakfast is very good. Good selection & tasty.

Laundry machines is a plus. Can travel light. Next to SOGO which has plenty of dining, supermart and shopping option. A great location.

Great 24hr lobby service. Stayed in a dormitory room that fits 12, so depends on your luck it may be a peaceful or noisy sleep. Bath towels, toothbrushes are not provided, so you may have to bring your own. Location is decent, a 10mins walk to Taichung mrt station and near to the bus terminals to ferry to Sun Moon Lake
