Located in Katong/ Joo Chiat (Singapore's First Heritage Town), Holiday Inn Express Singapore Katong, an IHG Hotel, features modern, air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and 24 / 7 in-room dining. The vicinity. It was closer to the stadium. Had malls and food options available in the area. The staff was cooperative.

Village Hotel Katong by Far East Hospitality features an outdoor pool, a restaurant, and a 24-hour front desk. Free WiFi is available in rooms and throughout the property. I'm glad we booked a stay here for our last day in SG. I wanted to treat my senior companions to a luxurious hotel accommodation and that is exactly what we got! What I loved about the place is that it's clean and their rooms are spacious. We also had a good night sleep on their firm bed and soft pillows. For an 'aged' hotel, it is quite well maintained and smells so nice. (Reminds me of a stay in Dusit). We enjoyed their complimentary use of pool and steam bath (a big hit for the oldies I was with). Their breakfast suits eastern tastes. They also had amazing customer service team. The receptionist, Lora, wowed me with her warm and friendly approach. Everyone in the service team was attentive to the guests' needs. Location-wise, you can get to the nearest MRT station (Dakota) via cab which I booked via Zig ride sharing app. It won't take more than 15 mins to get there. One of the exits from the lobby connects you to Katong V shopping center where you can find a lot of dining options, grocery, wine store and coffee shops. It also leads you to the street where you can walk to restaurants and malls. The Prenakan Houses tourist attraction is also just a walking distance. You'll see a lot of restaurants and bars on your way to Joo Chiat Road where it is located. You can also reach Marine Parade by foot. This is where I've spent Sunday morning riding a bike and walking by the beach. Overall, this hotel is great choice of place to stay. I would recomment this to anyone who wants to explore SG.

The boutique Santa Grand Hotel East Coast is located in the laidback area of Katong, known for its rich heritage and culture. An excellent hotel with the most delightful staff.Really exceptional. I feel access for people with different abilities would be good here.

ibis budget Singapore Joo Chiat is located in the suburb of Joo Chiat, a 15-minute drive from Changi International Airport. The cosy hotel offers affordable accommodation with free parking on site. We kew the location, because the wife studied n Singapore. And stayed a few years in this area. A very nice area,with beauiful houses,and buildings. About an half hour from the city,by publictrandport.Very friendly staff. Roomwas not very big, but we were out alot. It was surprisingly quiet, for a touristy area. Loads of shops, and restaurants in many styles and tastes around. The very friendly staff,told us abut the supermarket,foodcourts end beach.Singapore is amazing,very multi-culturel, modern andclean.The people are extremely nice and polite.
