The property is a welcome retreat after walking the city of Porto. We loved the beautiful breakfast and it was a excellent start to our day. We would then walk the riverside path into Porto. This would take about a hour. We would book a ride back to the hotel or walk after exploring the sights. Every afternoon we would sit by the pool and watch the sunset. Then get a Uber back into the city to enjoy a dinner in Porto.

Overlooking Douro River in Porto, the 5-star Palácio Do Freixo is set in a restored 18th-century Baroque building. everything was perfect, nice view, the breakfast is really nice, tasty, I came here with my sister and we loved it! thank you !

Situated in a historic building, it offers a well-stocked bar and a coffee shop. - The beds were comfortable and the sheets were of good quality. - The room had a spacious bathroom and a small balcony. - The air conditioner was very handy as well. - It is right next to the main train/bus station of Porto. - The staff was helpful and friendly. - We could leave our luggage in the hotel on our final day till the night.
