We arrived on what was actually the official grand opening day! Didn't know that. But they had put out flowers and sculptures in the foyer. The staff were amazing. Very helpful. I asked about baseball tickets and the staff member checked with her colleagues then ran up to the room with a map for a ticket reseller nearby. Room was great, good size. More than double the size of a similar priced room in Shinjuku.

Situated in Tokyo, within 300 metres of Ryuseido Shinjo-in Temple and 500 metres of Shitamachi Museum, MIMARU TOKYO UENO OKACHIMACHI features accommodation with free WiFi throughout the property. The room was spacious given what we heard of rooms in Tokyo. There was enough activity close by yet the location was quiet. It gave us a short feel of living in a truly global city.

Situated 1.5 km from Sensoji Temple, MIMARU Tokyo Ueno North provides free WiFi in all areas. The accommodation features a hot tub. The units have a kitchen with a microwave and a fridge. Convenient location near JR and other stations. Staff are nice and helpful, and always provide advice for my enquiries. My kids love bunked bed much. With washer/dryer facility good for long stay. Overall clean and neat.

Set in Tokyo and with Jinnai Shrine reachable within 300 metres, HotelCO Kuramae ホテル コ 蔵前 offers a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. The spacious room is well taken care of and clearly very new. The photos are exactly as it is. You can choose to get the room cleaned daily. It is a clean and well decorated space. We used the projector to watch Netflix at night, and took baths every day we were there. The bathtub takes forever to fill, but it is a nice "onsen" feeling after a day of walking. The morning breakfasts were delicious and the attention very polite. Traditional Japanese breakfast that is already set from 8:30 to 10:30am. We really liked the style and the quality was very good. Simple foods, but everything you need to start the day with a happy belly. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, even with a language barrier. Even for simple things like wishing a good day, we used Google Translate but the good intentions were clear. They also helped us bring our suitcases to the taxi and spoke to the driver to make sure we were going to the right destination. They also brought our suitcases up and down the stairs (no elevator, be ready for the classic Japanese steep stairs!) We also ordered something online and had it delivered at the hotel and they brought it to our room once it arrived. We enjoyed being within walking (~15-20 min) distance from a couple of our favourite neighbourhoods. The metro is also ~12 min away. It has a Family Market right across the street so if you need anything, you just need to come down.

Featuring 3-star accommodation, APA Hotel Asakusa Shin Okachimachi Ekimae is located in Tokyo, 400 metres from Choen-ji Temple and 500 metres from The Shitaya Shrine. The bathroom is very clean. Its location is so convenient. Lots of friendly faces. The entertainment system is also fun.

In a prime location in the centre of Tokyo, APA Hotel Ueno Ekiminami provides air-conditioned rooms, a restaurant and free WiFi. I stayed 2 times during my trip to Japan at this location (different weeks). The staff is real helpful. Little to no external noise, which made sleeping at night good. If I come back to Japan, I would consider staying here again.

Very nice and cozy hotel with complete room amenities. The public onsen is a plus and very relaxing. The location is perfectly placed in the center of the city. Very near the metro stations.

Ideally set in Tokyo, APA Hotel Ueno Hirokoji features an American breakfast and free WiFi throughout the property. Beautiful hotel in a great location, very clean rooms (we had 2), very nice staff!
