Well set in the centre of Tokyo, &Here TOKYO UENO provides 3-star accommodation close to Ryuseido Shinjo-in Temple and Shitamachi Museum. We arrived on what was actually the official grand opening day! Didn't know that. But they had put out flowers and sculptures in the foyer. The staff were amazing. Very helpful. I asked about baseball tickets and the staff member checked with her colleagues then ran up to the room with a map for a ticket reseller nearby. Room was great, good size. More than double the size of a similar priced room in Shinjuku.

Situated within 600 metres of Kamezumiinari Shrine and 600 metres of Shitamachi Museum, Section L Yushima-Ueno features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Tokyo. I loved it there. In a sweet quiet neighborhood right next to the action and park in Ueno, both of which we enjoyed. Great location. Thoughtful room with every amenity you can imagine. Well equipped kitchen, laundry, Swifters, deep soaking tub and all. Great! Lovely small shrine a short distance away with koi and turtles! with a great shop next door. Would definitely come back.

The room was spacious given what we heard of rooms in Tokyo. There was enough activity close by yet the location was quiet. It gave us a short feel of living in a truly global city.

There was good space for us to stretch out and keep our belongings out of our way. The refrigerator and kitchenette were very helpful. The bathroom was great as 3 people could use it at once. Tea and coffee daily were a plus and the pajamas were a nice touch. They held our luggage on our last day until we had to leave for the airport. Everything was VERY clean, the staff was VERY helpful and friendly, and the location was perfect and close, but not too close to the hustle and bustle.

Situated 1.5 km from Sensoji Temple, MIMARU Tokyo Ueno North provides free WiFi in all areas. The accommodation features a hot tub. The units have a kitchen with a microwave and a fridge. Perfect for a family of 4 people with 2 kids. Rooms are very spacious. Beds are comfortable. Excellent location close to Ueno station connecting to all main places.

Set in Tokyo and with Jinnai Shrine reachable within 300 metres, HotelCO Kuramae ホテル コ 蔵前 offers a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. The spacious room is well taken care of and clearly very new. The photos are exactly as it is. You can choose to get the room cleaned daily. It is a clean and well decorated space. We used the projector to watch Netflix at night, and took baths every day we were there. The bathtub takes forever to fill, but it is a nice "onsen" feeling after a day of walking. The morning breakfasts were delicious and the attention very polite. Traditional Japanese breakfast that is already set from 8:30 to 10:30am. We really liked the style and the quality was very good. Simple foods, but everything you need to start the day with a happy belly. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, even with a language barrier. Even for simple things like wishing a good day, we used Google Translate but the good intentions were clear. They also helped us bring our suitcases to the taxi and spoke to the driver to make sure we were going to the right destination. They also brought our suitcases up and down the stairs (no elevator, be ready for the classic Japanese steep stairs!) We also ordered something online and had it delivered at the hotel and they brought it to our room once it arrived. We enjoyed being within walking (~15-20 min) distance from a couple of our favourite neighbourhoods. The metro is also ~12 min away. It has a Family Market right across the street so if you need anything, you just need to come down.

Featuring 3-star accommodation, APA Hotel Asakusa Shin Okachimachi Ekimae is located in Tokyo, 400 metres from Choen-ji Temple and 500 metres from The Shitaya Shrine. Location was good, about 5 min walk to train station. Quiet at night, and not on a very busy street. Extremely clean and has that standard APA layout. Staff was very friendly and accommodated our luggage before and after our stay.

In a prime location in the centre of Tokyo, APA Hotel Ueno Ekiminami provides air-conditioned rooms, a restaurant and free WiFi. I stayed 2 times during my trip to Japan at this location (different weeks). The staff is real helpful. Little to no external noise, which made sleeping at night good. If I come back to Japan, I would consider staying here again.

Very nice and cozy hotel with complete room amenities. The public onsen is a plus and very relaxing. The location is perfectly placed in the center of the city. Very near the metro stations.
