I booked the hotel during the time of the pandemic around 2021 and was able to obtain a reasonable price compared to other usual hotels in the Tokyo Metropolitan Area. The iconic Tokyo tower is just one station away from Daimon station by getting off at Akabaneshi station. One can also prefer a 15-20 min walk from JR Hamamamatsucho/from the hotel to Tokyo Tower and enjoy the urban sights of small shops, restaurants, and other establishments along the way. There are local restaurants around the area of the hotel or if you are into conbinis, there is Family Mart, 7-11, and Lawson within 500 meters circumference from the hotel. Japan is now practically avoiding plastic bags and you will be charged for every bag you need, but if you bring along with you a reusable eco bag, shop attendants and cashiers will definitely appreciate it. JR Hamamatsucho station is just a couple of stations away from Tokyo and Shinagawa stations in opposite directions and is very convenient if you will be traveling by shinkansen towards the north (Tohoku) or the south (Kansai). Check-in/out: easy self-check-in and check-out via automated machines. Otherwise, the hotel attendant can assist you and they speak good English. Additional amenities: In order to lessen the carbon footprint, the hotel did a smart way of placing a dedicated space for the guest to get toothbrushes, combs, shower caps, tea bags, etc. -- only if the guest decides to. Cleaning: Rooms are cleaned every day and towels are changed fresh, but there is an option to place a magnetic card for "do not disturb" or "need to change fresh towels only".

Newly renovated in April 2017, Tokyo Prince Hotel offers modern accommodation. Guests can enjoy views of Tokyo Tower, which is just a 3-minute walk away. Overall, the hotel room and surroundings were exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the staff was both friendly and helpful. The location was outstanding, providing a view of Tokyo Tower and being just a short walk from the subway.
