Ideally located between central London's Knightsbridge and Kensington districts, the boutique 5-star Milestone Hotel Kensington boasts a resistance pool, a fitness centre, and a luxurious spa. Words cannot describe the magical week we had in London. Our family of 4 began our holiday at the beautiful and magestic Milestone Hotel. We have travelled to many countries and stayed at many hotels, but we have never experienced the level of service as we did at the Milestone. We flew in from Australia at 6am, went straight to the hotel. They welcomed us with complementary breakfast and coffee, because our rooms were not ready. If you come to London for the history, then you must visit the Milestone. The breakfast room is just beautiful. The details in the furniture, colours, walls, pictures are just stunning. The service at the front desk, concierge, doorman, dining room and at turn down service is sheer perfection. So generous, genuine and so accommodating, nothing was too hard. The advice re, where to eat out, transportation, shopping was always perfect. I haven’t even begun to talk about our rooms. The hotel was kind enough to put us in adjoining rooms. Two beautiful rooms with their own bathrooms, decorated to perfection. Sweets and water delivered daily at turn down service by a group of lovely women who were so generous and happy. Our hotel was situated across the road from Kensington Palace. Location was great really. Kensington High St bustling with shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, tube station just a minute away. Bus stops just out front to take you to Knightsbridge, South Kensington, Chelsea, Piccadilly Circus and so much more. We even caught our tour bus just out front. Overall for us, it was one, if not the best hotel stays we’ve had with our family.

Established in 1892, The Gore London - Starhotels Collezione is a charming boutique hotel located in the heart of South Kensington, offering 50 lavishly-appointed bedrooms packed with history. Very interesting hotel full of interesting antiques. I was lucky and got upgraded. The location is marvelous, 3 min from Royal Albert Hall, and all attractions of Kensington and Chelsea. All the staff were all super friendly, kind and helpful, always smiling. Good breakfast.

With its own Mediterranean restaurant and just a minute’s walk from South Kensington Underground Station, The Ampersand is a cosmopolitan hotel set in a large Victorian building. I like everything. Staff is friendly and efficient. The place is neat and kept in excellent conditions. I have made it my hotel in Geneva.
