This 4-star hotel is located directly south of Essen city center. It is 1 underground station from Essen Main Station and 3 stops from the Gruga-Halle exhibition center. We have been on the road for several weeks in England and Germany. This hotel was well above all the other hotels we stayed in. We really appreciated the room service that cleaned our room during our absence during the day. Also, we appreciated that we could extend our stay for a day without having to pay a higher rate.

The hotel is well located with conveniently located underground car park (CONTIPARK) which connects directly to the hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was excellent overlooking a wonderful park. The room was large and comfortable with a capsule coffee machine included.

Hauptbahnhof Universitätsklinikum Messe Evonik offers accommodations in Essen, a 13-minute walk from Essen Cathedral and one mile from GOP Variety Theater. The apartment is super clean, all what you need as a family is provided (kooking wears, washing machine dryer....). The landlord is such a nice and cooperative person, he brought some toys and bikes for my kids to enjoy the stay. I can only recommend it and give 10/10 and indeed I will book again for my next visit to Essen.

The location is very convenient, a fast 10 minute walk to the central train station "Hauptbahnhof" and just two blocks from the "Philharmonie" underground and tram station. The apartment was clean and quiet in a primarily residential neighborhood. We were able to briefly park on-site to unload our rental car when we checked in, and then dropped the car off at the central station.

Located conveniently in the Südviertel district of Essen, The Bunk Hostel is located a 5-minute walk from Essen Central Station, 300 yards from Aalto Theater and a 9-minute walk from Grillo Theater. Everything - location to the Hauptbahnhof, essen city's commercial/food centers, the kitchen and the sleeping rooms, batheoom facilities were ok as well. All in all a decent environment to stay in.
