Ideally situated beside the pedestrian zone and main railway station in Essen, this traditional 4-star hotel is a direct underground ride from the exhibition grounds and the Grugapark complex. Everything, hotel was right beside everything. The rooms were spotless, bed and pillows were very comfortable, great selection for breakfast, staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel.

Double bed with extra Sofa, so it could be used for 3 people. The bathroom with tub and shower and a heated lighted toilet, wow. Small fridge, hot water kettle and Nespresso coffee maker. Two bottles of excellent wine were available at cost.
