The Orchid is one of the few remaining charming hutong hotels in Beijing. The rooms are designed and decorated with a lot of thoughts and heart, very clean too. The management pays a lot of attention to details. The rooftop restaurant is delicious and with a wonderful view towards the bell tower. They have a nice reception area, a hutong on the ground floor and even one room with a personal terrace. Staying there makes you feel like in the old time of Beijing. You do not feel the noise and stress of the city and there are so many nice bars and restaurants around. Most of the staff speaks very well English, in particular at the reception. They all are extremely caring and friendly, all very good hosts- at the forefront is Gaby to be mentioned-

Beijing Le Zai Nan Luo Gu Xiang Wang Fu Jing Forbidden City Courtyard Hotel har en god beliggenhed i Beijing og tilbyder værelser med aircondition, have, gratis wi-fi og terrasse. Property tucked away from the busy and popular street with easy and quick access to the steet. Staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and amazing and took care of us the whole trip. The Chinese hospitality was one of the best parts of our trip.

What a fantastic place to stay! the room was very clean, quiet and well presented. The staff have a very good English language level and nothing was too much trouble for them. They were happy to arrange anything I needed. The location could not be beaten, right in the middle of the hutong’s which are the old cities alleyways and courtyards. Steeped in history and culture. You are within a short walk of many top attractions including the bell and drum tower, the Lama Temple, Houhai lake, Shichahai and Beihai park. If you want to go further you are only a few minutes walk from the underground ,which is the best I have been on or 5 mins from a major bus route or taxi’s. Because of the location you are surrounded by a vast array of restaurants with many different cuisines at very reasonable prices. I have stayed here before and have no intention of ever staying anywhere else while in Beijing. I believe there could not be a better place to spend your time. I will return as soon as I am able.

Beijing Tang House (nanluoguxiang) ligger i Dong Cheng-kvarteret, blot 800 meter fra Lama-templet. Værelserne er indrettede i pastelfarver og har aircondition samt gratis internet via kabel. The hotel was super nice and would meet European Requirements of travellers. It was spacious, modern and overall clean. The location was quite good as you could walk to Confucius and lama temple. Also there are many shops and restaurants around. The staff was sooo friendly! They helped us out so many times with difficulties that we faced and they were so warm and friendly. They also brought two bottles of water every day.

Rong Hotel - Beijing Nanluoguxiang Branch ligger i centrum af Beijing, 1,9 km fra Yonghegong-templet. Der er roomservice, døgnåben reception og gratis wi-fi overalt på stedet. Lovely host, beautiful location

Mao'er Hutong B&B ligger i Beijings historiske hutong. Der er gratis wi-fi overalt på stedet. Shichahai Station (linje 8) og Nanluoguxiang Station (linje 6) ligger kun få skridt fra hotellet. the bed was a traditional Chinese wooden carved bed - very big and more comfortable than it looked. Shower room and bathroom were not modern but were very adequate and the provision of sliders for the shower and slippers for the room were very appreciated. It would be good if they could provide some tea / coffee for the room - provided a kettle and mugs but no tea/coffee. It wasn't a big deal though.

The East Hotel-Very har en god beliggenhed i centrum af Beijing, tæt på Trommetårnet, Lama-templet, Houhai Bar Street og Den Forbudte By. The position is very near to the Forbidden City and it was very comfortable! I appreciate it! The staff was very kind
