Christina was amazing! We are Americans and don’t speak a lick of Portuguese and although her English wasn’t strong either, (but it’s 2023 and phones and google exist) so that wasn’t a problem AT ALL. She made sure we comfortable and had fun. She checked on us regularly. The location is safe and is in walking distance of great food, bars and shopping. I kinda didn’t want to do a review because I wanted to keep this hidden gem to myself, but Chris deserves all the raving reviews she can get. Thank you so much for making our Rio experience so amazing!

Staff go above and beyond to deliver the best experience, kudos especially to Pablo and Dominique at the bar. If you’re looking for calm and tranquility, this is the place for you.

Fantastic location with the most amazing views and a beautiful property so tranquil with amazing birds, trees and even some cute local wildlife. Food was excellent, hotel beautifully decorated and great staff

Located in the historical and cultural heart of Rio de Janeiro, this 5-star boutique hotel offers a unique concept of tropical design and panoramic views of Rio de Janeiro’s bay. The whole stay was amazing, the staff in reception were so friendly and helpful; they booked tickets and restaurants for us and gave us recommendations of what to see/do whilst in Rio! The breakfast was the best breakfast we had during our time in Brazil, so many options which were all fresh and lovely! The room was amazing, really clean and comfy and overlooking the pool! Couldn’t recommend this hotel more!

Moreover, the host was extremely friendly and very eager to help, advise or give recommendations. Would definitely book the accommodation if traveling to Rio again!

The place is beautiful. You feel like it's a bastion of safety and civility in an otherwise rough city. The breakfast is fantastic. Service top notch. Super close to the downtown airport. I'd stay here again, no question.

Lobie Armazém São Joaquim er fullkomlega staðsett í Santa Teresa-hverfinu í Rio de Janeiro, 2,4 km frá Flamengo-ströndinni, 1,2 km frá Escadaria Selarón og 2,7 km frá borgarleikhúsinu í Rio de... Everything. The decor, the room, the location. Cool bohemian cafes and bars for breakfast and night hang out in the area. Close to the Explorer restaurant. The restaurant of the hotel is also extremely popular. They let us check out way later than the official time. Nice gesture.

Hið sögulega og menningarlega Lapa-hverfi í Rio de Janeiro er steinsnar frá Hotel Americano. Öll herbergin eru með loftkælingu og kapalsjónvarpi. Ókeypis bílastæði eru í boði. My room was large and my bathroom had been newly renovated and had a large jacuzzi. I also had a small entrance room that had a fridge and computer table. I was comfortable and overall enjoyed my stay. The location is relatively central although you do have to walk a bit to the metro.
