Windsor Leme is a awesome hotel if you want to be near everything. The staff was very friendly and spoke Spanish and English. I was a bit concerned about safety, because there is a Fabela near by, but we didn't felt unsafe during our stay. There is many grocery stores, pharmacies and restaurants near by. We walked all Copacabana to Ipanema without any problem. Many Uber and Taxi transportation near the hotel. The breakfast was wonderful, many options to select. The room was quiet and we were in a ocean view room facing the street. The bed and the pillow were very comfy!!! The hotel exceeded our expectations, strongly recommended!

Owners are very attentive, the dorms are absolutely equipped with everything you need, there are plenty of programs organized for your stay. very clean, close to everything- beach, restaurants. very safe area, and the hospitality is outstanding!

Situated in Rio de Janeiro's Leme district, on the hills of the pacified community of Babilônia, 1.8 km from Copacabana Beach, Pousada Estrelas da Babilônia features a barbecue and terrace. Bibi and Joubert are adorable people and wonderful hosts. The place is in a Favela at the north end of Copacabana Beach. I didn't realise that it was in a Favela, which required a bit of a climb up steps. A motorbike taxi can take you half way up from the bottom of the hill for 5 Reis, which is an experience in itself. But you need to walk the rest of the way, which only takes a couple of minutes. The room I had was large and clean with a comfortable bed and a cafe table I could put my laptop on. The room even had an epic view of Copacabana through a grove of giant bamboo. Talk about a million-dollar view! The breakfasts were different each day, very tasty and healthy. There was even a cliff-top local salsa/samba party right next door one night. It was fantastic.!
