Lauderdale by the Sea is great for all ages, kids can enjoy the pool or ocean. beach chairs & towels seem to be available at a lot of motels, this is a great convenience to visitors. Umbertos has great pizza, we didn't eat out all the time, as it was great to pick up a few groceries at Publix or Walmart and have sandwiches/hot chicken for meals throughout our stay. We could walk to Starbucks, Eddie V's which were a half a block away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return !
