The problem is I am a well built individual and the shower in the single room was way too small for me to enter it. They resolved the situation by giving me another room which had a larger entrance door to the shower.

Whilst I didn't see much of it, I wouldn't stay here. Just travel through on way to Aeolian islands. Surprisingly, no taxi's or uber's at train station when I arrived from Palermo so I had to hitch-hike (lol)!

It's not Taormina which is obviously the jewel in the crown of Sicily but it's a nice town to wander around and the restaurants are good and plentiful.
We stayed there specifically to be close to the Aolian Boat tours (which I don't recommend).

The views from the hotel (including Etna) were just fantastic (we booked sea-view). The location was great for ius as it was a short walk to lots of interesting places for us, and the staff were really friendly ( a bit more english would have been helpful but wasn't necessary)

Milazzo is a beautiful coastal city rich in history, culture and architecture. I was there for just two days as the purpose of us staying there was our sail to the Isole Eolie, but I did notice the city offers excellent shopping and all types of dining and nightlife. And the day and nighttime views of the Aeolian sea and mainland Sicily were gorgeous. As Italian/American tourists, I was delighted how friendly the locals were to us on the street and in the stores/restaurants. Be prepared to pay for parking wherever you go though day and night. I would certainly visit this city again.
This is an amazing place. In a more posh location this would cost many times the price. Rooms are huge and elegant. The location at road’s end across from the beach is amazing. The staff is excellent. The restaurant is an extraordinary value: deliciously and elegantly prepared food in a gorgeous setting with waitstaff that is top notch. Do not miss the dinner experience. One pool is set in a garden such as I’ve never seen at a hotel, the other on the roof. I’m an old man, have stayed in many hotels: this is quite a special place.
Our stay at Solaris couldn’t have been better. We only stayed in Milazzo for one night but if we had known it was so nice we would’ve stayed longer. The room was incredibly spacious and comfortable - we also appreciated the theme of of the room. The staff were also very kind and served a wonderful breakfast in the morning. Would not have changed a thing about our stay. I should also add that the check-in and check out was incredibly easy and seamless.
We loved absolutely everything about this stay. Highly recommend to anybody planning a trip to Milazzo. The area was just perfect, close to everything and a very nice neighbourhood. Very spacious and so far the best sleep in Sicily we’ve had. Everything was very clean and everything you could need is available. Very communicative and even let us check in earlier since we arrived earlier than expected. Parking right on the property was nice too!
The apartment was clean and modern, with a large bathroom and balcony. We had excellent communication with the staff, and there was a nice rooftop terrace. They served a sweet breakfast every day. The location right by the port makes it a perfect spot for island hopping in the Aeolian Islands, and it's only a 10-minute walk to the beach. On the last day, we were allowed to check-out an hour later, which was very kind.
We chose the location because of convenience to the ferry from the Aeolian islands. Only a couple of mins walk. We were put up in a hotel quality bedroom in an adjoining building - they obviously have a close working relationship. We had breakfast in the hotel - which was excellent - out on the patio. The reception was very friendly and helpful and the room very comfortable with a balcony overlooking the port
Perfect location for catching or departing the ferry to the Aeolian Islands. Rooms were spotlessly clean. Breakfast plentiful and complete with good service on the rooftop. Best of all was Delilia - she could not have been more helpful, anticipated questions before we asked, was superb with rental car, ferry ticket advice, restaurant advice. Highly recommended as a stopping point before or after the ferry.
Santo was a really good host and pointed out the best things to do in Milazzo. It is also convenient that Santo has a parking garage where you can park you car. Esspecially in the one-way street filled Milazzo, parking can be a nightmare.
Rooms were clean and very modern. The location is ideal for going to the ports to buy a ticket to the Aeolians islands as well as exploring Milazzo and its surroundings.
spatious appartment with everything what we needed. Everything worked. near the beach and an easy 15 minutes walk to the ferry terminal to Eolian islands. 5 minutes walk to the nears grocery shop near the local church opposite of whisi is an exellen local Ice Cream caffe with exrtaordinary icecreams for the locals with very moderate prices
The hotel was in a nice location just outside the main centre of Milazzo. The room was very spacious with a great view out over the harbour. The staff on the Reception desk and in particular, in the restaurant, were friendly and helpful. The coffee machine in the room was a nice touch although it wasn’t possible to make a cup of tea.
Great location just a few minutes walk from the port where we took the ferry to the Aeolian Islands. Owner was very friendly and upgraded our room free of charge to one with a bigger shower. Room was very clean, modern and quiet, and all amenities worked perfectly. Internet also worked well with no issues whatsoever.
The B&B is centrally located near the entrance to the port from where the cruises depart.
The owner of the place is very helpful. Paid parking (blue line) near the hotel or in the parking lots in the nearby streets.
New, clean rooms, equipped with a coffee machine, coffee and a minibar.
Highly recommend the B&B.
We were stuck in Milazzo because the boats to the Aeolian Islands were cancelled due to bad weather. While there is not much to recommend Milazzo itself, this B&B is an excellent place to stay. The hostess was extremely nice and the room was comfortable and real value for money.
The rooms are fantastic and super clean!
The lights and the TV in the room are amazing.
The staff is very gentle and caring.
Even though the street is a bit noisy because it is central, the windows are sound proof so you can sleep like a baby.
I highly recommend this hotel.
We really enjoyed this B&B. The breakfast was very nice. Piero was a great host. He recommended a specific tour to the Aeolian Islands that was wonderful. We weren't sure what to expect staying in Milazzo but were pleasantly surprised.
Spacious and clean room. The host is super kind and gave us very useful suggestions of where to go during our evening in Milazzo and in our next destination: the Aeolian Islands.
We would definitely come back and suggest this place.
Very nice, modern & clean hotel. Ricardo is very kind and gives you perfect tips where to go (beautifl Capo Milazzo is just few minutes from here). For us it was perfect location to sleep before morning departure to Stromboli.
We liked the central location in Milazzo (with the world's best ice cream within easy reach) and the large size of the appartment. The view towards the sea and the large balcony were an exceptional plus.
The owner was very helpful, he made it feel like home. Room was clean, ambient and design of the place very nice. Location is very central and Milazzo is a really nice town to visit.
Owner and his wife were very nice and gave us good recommendations. The hotel is in a good location close to all conveniences. Kitchen opened 24 hours, good breakfast.
