DeA studio is a great little property if you want an independent stay in the Anzio area. I wanted to stay a couple of days on my own and be able to walk to visit friends in Lavinio. The studio is a separate building behind the main house and you can walk to a supermarket and/or the Lido delle Sirene beach in 20 minutes. Friends told me that the Saint Tropez restaurant by the water is very good. Villa Claudia station on the FL8 train line from Roma Termini is a 10-minute walk. There's parking for anyone with a rental car. The studio has everything you need and the bed was pretty comfortable.
Located 1.2 km from Grotte di Nerone Beach, 2 km from Anzio Colonia Beach and 2.9 km from Lido del Corsaro Beach, Daniela House 3 provides accommodation situated in Anzio.

They were able to accommodate us at the last minute when we booked late at night and the lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and it was a unique layout (not exactly child friendly unfortunately). It was also close to the beach and the station.

Beautiful Seaside town, Extremeley friendly and helpful people. Even when language was a barrier they would find some one or we would use translate. Even bus drivers and train conductors were so helpful.

It´s a small town, within walking distance, and everything you need is around the corner.
We found the best hotel and also a bar/restaurant where we had drinks and dinner down on the beach directly on the sand.

Anzio is a quiet beach place with nice restaurants, a port , nice little shops and the historical ruins of Nero's palace at the sea. 50km from Rome it is the right place to stay if you would like to combine Rime visits and in between some beach breaks.

Anzio is a non-touristic, quiet port town.
Anzio is a non-touristic, quiet port town. Decent beaches, both free and paid.
A good starting point for hydrofoil travel to Ponza Island. From here there are hydrofoils that will take you there in an hour and a half. Other places only use regular cruise ships, but they offer a four-hour journey.
There are many good restaurants with local fresh fish and seafood as well as local wines.
A place worth staying for shorter and longer periods.

Pleasant surprise!
Pleasant surprise! We learnt that the beaches around Anzio are popular among people from the Rome region, so there are mostly local people. Long, very nice beach with clean water, shallow sea and fine sand.

if you want to stay near Rome and have the benefit of a cooler summer atmosphere and a beach holiday this it , far better than staying Ostia or Fiumicino. frequent trains air conditioned and an hours journey rome for targeted visiting.
The apartment was clean, good size and within a good price range comparing to other stays in the same area. Close to the train station and close to the beach, 5 minutes walking distance from each.
It is perfect for families with kids, having a room with bunk beds.
We loved also the big terrace with barbeque area.
The staff also amazing and helpful to every question we had.
Next time we will be in Anzio, it will definitely be one of our choices.
A very central hotel in Anzio. I got a room on the fourth floor with a view of the sea and the beach with a small balcony. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Modern room with a good bed and a desk I could work from. There is not good sound insulation between the rooms, which became clear when I had neighbors with two small children who screamed a lot both at night and during the day. But all in all a nice stay, and at a reasonable price.
The PuraVida apartment was beautifully located above the main square in Anzio. It was exceptionally clean and well organised. We were warmly greeted by the host and we felt very welcome. The bed was comfy and we enjoyed full use of the kitchen. We had needed to book somewhere last minute and this was perfect, if we could, we would have stayed for longer as there is much to see nearby and the location was ideal.
Everything! The pictures really don’t do this place justice, for one the terrace is waaaaay bigger than it’s appears and the beach is literally at your doorstep. Also I don’t even know where to start with Luisa and Paolo, the perfect hosts, your treated like family here. it’s also worth noting that for a sea just and hour out of Rome, it is insanely clean and warm, you’d swear you were in Sicily 👏👏😊
Our stay was so lovely! The staff was very helpful and friendly even though we only speak a little italian. They always tried their best to suit our needs. Hotel premises are very clean. Room is small but very comfortable with nice bed and AC. Breakfast is fresh and you can ask for eggs and sausages. The distance from the sandy beach is just 3 minutes.
The location is great (about 10 minutes walk to the train station and then circa 1 hour train ride to Rome). The beach is also with the walking distance - around 15 minutes walk. There are also shops, bars and restaurants around. The host was super friendly and helpful. And the apartment is really spacious and cozy. We enjoyed our stay to the fullest!
A beautifully compact studio apartment, all within two rooms, but contained everything you need as a base to explore. 45 minutes from Rome Termini on the train from Anzio Colonia (fifteen minutes walk from the apartment) and right on the beach via a short flight of wooden stairs.
Cornelia was the ultimate hostess! Her attention to detail was evident everywhere. From the Nautilus fossil adorning the garden wall to the sea urchin s&p shakers to the yoga in the morning! We would love to stay longer if we're ever lucky enough to be back in Anzio!
This was a charming room, nicely decorated, very clean and in the perfect location for us to stroll along the waterfront and tour the Anzio WWII sites. The owner was very good at communication even though she was not able to be at the property.
This location is very good. It gives you time to enjoy the outskirts of the city of Anzio, as well as the beautiful, sunny beaches.
Host is very friendly and helpful.
Recommend going here summertime for best experiences.
The equipment of the apartment is excellent, there is absolutely nothing missing. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Location close to the centre. There are grocery and fruit shops nearby. The beach is also nearby.
Monica the host was very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean, the location was perfect and very near the beach. Also lots of nice personal touches including restaurant recommendations and breakfast options.
The location is quite nice and not far from the train station. The hotel itself is cozy and comfortable. The staff were very polite and friendly. ANZIO town, where you can hangout, is about 25 or 30 minutes walking
a great stay! 7 minutes walk from Anzio train station
less then 20 minutes walk from the beach
a well equipped kitchen and clean rooms and bathrooms
defiantly worth it!
