Perfect location in the very centre of Glastonbury. So very close to Hight street and we would see the Abbey from our window. Friendly helpful staff, very welcoming and family atmosphere! We really enjoyed our stay there. Highly recommended! There is a small parking lot behind the property where we could park. There is a restaurant and pub downstairs. Delicious food for a very good prices!

The attractions are all close to each other and walkable...
The attractions are all close to each other and walkable without needing transport. The Chalice Gardens are a serene and wonderful place to visit and definitely recommended. The waters are highly rich in iron and can be drunk in small amounts from the lion's head fountain (tested for potability). It is possible to paddle in the water due to its legendary healing properties. I would have visited the White Water Spring also, but it was closed on the day we visited as it is volunteer run and depends on their availability. The town is very interesting, especially if you are into crystals. We had lunch in one of the many restaurants, cafes and bistros. A climb up the Tor is a must for the view from the top. There were three musicians making music in the tower and it was wonderful, it made my whole visit perfect. A visit to Glastonbury is as magical as its legends.BrendaUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Beautiful place to stay. People are very friendly and polite,relaxing atmosphere. Good choice of restaurants and cafés.We ate at the George and Pilgrim in the town centre you feel like you back in time.Easy to get around town if walking.

If you’re into alternative lifestyles laid back people, walks up the tor, live music, therapies and crystals you will love. Huge choices of esoteric goods. As ever be discerning in what you choose to do or buy! The Crown in the centre is a good option for Glasto attuned food with the kitchen open most of the day plus pub atmosphere! Everything needed for a comfy stay is provided, including fresh milk and a complementary block of local cheddar cheese in the fridge :) It's an easy walk to the High Street, very conveniently situation next to a supermarket and also easy to walk to the Tor.AlisonSouth Africa

Our landlady, Bridie, was very friendly and considerate, offering us a plentiful and healthy packed breakfast to eat whilst we waited in the queue to get into Glastonbury Festival, since we would be leaving in the early hours and would otherwise have missed breakfast. All round, just what we needed before our five days of camping!

Right at the top of the main road of Glastonbury. Even though our room was over the road we didnt hear the traffic. The bed is very comfy with an electric blanket. Joan is always around and contactable, and only too happy to supply you with anything you require. The room is large with a sofa and TV. There is no parking provided but we easily found space on the nearby streets.

You're literally staying in one of their spare rooms Airbnb-style (with another room available to another booker) - and there's no locks on the bedroom doors - so you may wish to consider that if you're so inclined, but it isn't an issue for me, and I otherwise heartily recommend a stay here.
