Very old worn out mattresses.
Noisy, smelly old dirty rooms. Close to sewage pipes. The beach is a joke, its a bunch of rocks.
The breakfast is very basic.
There has been no maintenance done,.
The owner of this hotel is using this as a cash cow.

Nice place to visit, it’s a bit pricey but nice, IMO if you want a good ice cream go to Alessandro Glacier I highly recommend it, for a great pizza Profumi d’Italia, set in a nice square. Many pubs and restaurants look over the sea.. it’s really nice.
We missed to see Les Calanques , apparently are awesome. Sunday market it’s a must lots to see alongside the sea, worth visiting

Great climate, really great for vacation.
Great climate, really great for vacation. But the restaurants on the boulevard are absolutely disgusting. Worst food ever. For good and really good restaurants you need to be in town. Don't go to the tourist-restaurants because they don't care about quality, only money.

Interesting Port town typical of the area.
Interesting Port town typical of the area. Parking is difficult and streets are narrow to negotiate. Quieter than nearby Cassis. The beaches are quieter but there is no sand, just rocks. Foot protection to enter the sea is essential,

An interesting, attractive port with views over the harbour, some industrial parts remaining. Bars and restaurants facing the harbour front. Extremely busy and buzzing at night due to street stalls all along the front and restaurant trade. Made a good base to travel for day trips to Cassis and the mountains inland. Only spent a short time in the evenings in town so did not use the beaches

Would definitely return to la ciotat, but was busy mid June, so would be too busy for us in July and August. Good choice of restaurants. Recommend Vietnamese rather than the Thai next door which was overpriced and too pushy to make you buy more.

La Ciotat is a beautiful town placed in a really nice area of the French mediterranean cost. Lost of beautiful places around to visit and enjoy. People are friendly, food is good ... what else can you ask for ?
The property is super close to the train station and 1-2km from La Ciotat city centre. The view is stunning! We were said to have a ”garden view” but we could see the mountains and the city from outside our room. The breakfast was really nice and Nathalie is a great host. She even picked us kindly up from the train station with her car. She has five adorable dogs and a lot of turtles in the garden! I loved every minute here. And La Ciotat is a beautiful city with beautiful beaches and nature. I wish we would’ve stayed longer!
Nathalie’s homemade bread served at breakfast was delicious, the honey and fig bread was my favourite. Loved her friendly dogs. Very cute room with bathroom in beautiful garden overlooking La Ciotat. Warmly recommend. Note that her house is by the train station, 5 kilometres from the port area (a far walk) but there are buses all day.
Aircondition was a big surprise and thank You so much for it! Comfy beds, clean, everything for a stay and food preparing is present. For us trains didn't interfere - at night they are not travelling and during the day/evening we didn't heard them. Good La Ciotat sandy beach 35 minutes walk. 7 min walk - Aldi.
Wi-fi speed 450 Mbps.
We had a wonderful stay at La Maison d'Odette. The location was fantastic—right in the middle of painfully cute La Ciotat, directly across the street from a lovely cafe, a grocery, a shoe store, and neighboring a truffle shop. The old town of La Ciotat is remarkably quaint and La Maison d'Odette is perfectly situated to explore it.
Great place to be! Direct located at the beautiful sandy beach of La Ciotat. It's only about 10Min on foot to the old Harbour and City Center where you will find a lot of restaurants directly on the harbour or in the medival Towncenter serving great and tasty food - but don't forget to order a Pastis first...;-)
The staff was so nice and accommodating. This is a very basic older place. No thrills or luxury but quiet and clean. Would definitely stay there again. Parking and location made it worth it and it had a nice patio so felt more spacious than it was. It also felt very safe as a single woman traveling.
It was a large and clean place including fully equipped kitchen. There's even a dishwasher and laundry machine. It's located on a hill overlooking La Ciotat, and a little walk away towards the boulevard or city centre (15-20 min or so). And a beautiful drive through Rte des Crêtes to Cassis.
The couple who ran this hotel were so friendly and went our of their way to be helpful in every way.
It was directly opposite the best beach in La Ciotat.
Everything was exceptionally clean. The terrace was an added bonus as was the parking on site.
The location is great, right above the entrance to a gorgeous bay. Truly, one of the nicest beaches we have went to.
The room was spacious, the beds were nice. It was nice to be able to sit outside. The shower was great. It felt clean.
the hotel has a nice design and style where it feels modern and clean. the room has a comfortable bed and nice bathroom with hot water and good shower pressure! it’s in a great location by the water.
A little charming place with informative, welcoming staff. Spectacular, quiet location, warm and luscious sea. Great and inexpensive restaurants nearby. An amazing find.
perfect location right next to the sea, nice aircon, well equipped and modern accommodation, lovely walk to the corniche that takes you to La Ciotat centre ville.
