- The room was spotless, especially the bathroom. We thought the bathroom was renovated and we were the first ones to use it, but on the second night, we realized that it was just that their cleaning skills were on point. We could not find a single sign that we used the shower the night before.
- The room was fully equipped and big enough for two people.
- The location was nice with restaurants, bakeries, and bus stops around.

We required a stop over on a drive From Northern Italy (Ortisei) to Brussels.Pforzheim was the mid point. The hotel was good with associated secure parking. We had a good breakfast but did not use the restaurant for the evening meal as it appeared somewhat overpriced for the hotel. We ate in a nearby Greek restaurant. The town sadly was destroyed by bombing in the latter stages of WW2 and apart from a river very little of tourist interest in the centre of the town,
when I was greeted by reception it was with a big smile, warm welcome and total professionalism...they explained how the parking operated, check-in was easy and fast.. Dinner was organized for me and was highly impressed with the quality and style of presentation.. bar facilities and the bar-man were excellent, nothing was too much trouble.
Would I recommend this hotel to friends?...100% definite.. when I return to Germany I intend to use this hotel a lot... location and ease was awesome.
Rooms a good, clean and spacious. Comfortable bed(s) and good toilet facilities are good apart from old fashioned showers.
The Staff are exceptionally helpful & friendly. The Restaurant for breakfast is well appointed with a good selection of fare on offer. The car parking facilities are first class and very secure.
Access from to Autobahn in simple and just 2 minutes to the hotel.
Overall a very good Hotel Residenz
which I will continue to use.
- The hotel is at an amazing location, right across the main train station. Next to it, there are several stores for food, refreshments, coffee, etc. And it's a 5-minute walk to the city center.
- Although it was a one-person room, the space was compact and had everything it needed.
- For early risers and travelers, breakfast being served as early as 6:30 was very convenient.
Great location right outside A8 motorway. Still hotel is quiet and no road noise is noticeable.
Strict enforcement of anti COVID rules at arrival and during the stay is reassuring.
Room was clean and breakfast buffet had a good variety of food.
I had seasonal food at the restaurant and that was quite good.
Closed parking available at a reasonable rate.
Lovely apartment close to the centre, excellent facilities and very clean. Comfy bed and very quiet area so had great sleeps 😀 Was perfect for our 4 days in Pforzheim. The host was extremely helpful, sending us photos of how to access the apartment etc., and answered any queries promptly...thanks again Robert.
Nice no-nonsense hotel aimed at company gatherings and meetings, but yet suitable for a stopover stay. Friendly staff, clean and spacious room in a beautiful and quiet green garden setting. Tasteful dinner and breakfast buffets, all in all for reasonable prices.
The hotel was easy to find. Breakfast was excellent. We had a family room for one night and it was very decent. Overall, happy with the hotel and the service. Nearby (a few minutes drive) there are a few nice restaurants. We will be happy to stay there again.
