Very spacious building and yard. Very nice and welcoming guests. Excellent breakfast. Location is a bit remote so you need a car but the area is really nice and quiet. Highly recommend, go for it. :)

What a nice place! The familiyowned Masseria is some 20 minutew away from Syracuse, in s cosy old house and garden with nice pool. The rooms are located in the former workers houses, they are very well equipped and clean. It‘s an ideal place to start trips to the surrounding area. The breakfast was outstanding, mostly self-made sweet and salty bakery. Very polite and helpful staff. We‘d love to come back!

The host was then already at the property to hand over keys and explain the facilities. We had to leave early to catch a train on the last day and host accommodated this for us to return the deposit. Property is ideal for visiting Syracuse, a 10 minute walk from train/bus station but 200 yards from heart of old Syracuse. Plenty of restaurants/bars close by but inside property quiet and peaceful.

It is in an excellent location, very close to the market, and a very short walk to the centre of Ortigia, but is very quiet and peaceful. Note, we stayed in 'the loft' - it isn't actually a loft, its on the ground floor, and opens directly onto the (very quiet) street outside.

All rooms are in a modern part of the building, erected around gardens and an awesome pool with an old olive tree in the middle of it, and have a terrace with view on the countryside or the golf courses and no vis à vis. Bright white stone of the ancient walls of the old monastery renovated to host the restaurant, the reception, the lounge and the bar.
