The location was fantastic for hiking on one of HK’s off-the-beaten track islands. Larry, the guesthouse owner, was extraordinarily kind, warm, and proactive in helping me get the most out of my one day/night on the island, giving detailed instructions on how to get around the island by bus, etc. This made my visit so much more pleasurable than I would have had at a larger chain hotel, even one with fancier amenities.

Wonderful retreat from the city with extremely welcoming hosts - freshly baked bread on our arrival and a delicious home-cooked meal. The apartment was simple but had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. We stayed with our young daughter who slept soundly in this lovely peaceful village. We hope to be back again soon. Thank you for a great stay!

Very nice hostel with only three rooms and roof top terrace. Our room had a balcony overlooking the bay. The furniture and decoration was very tasteful. We had a fridge in the room, bottled water and slippers were available for the guests. The check in info was given via WhatsApp so it was always possible to communicate with the reception and to check in online. The info was so comprehensive we didn’t have any problems finding the place.
