Hyatt Place New York City/Times Square, hotel in Long Island City

Hyatt Place New York City/Times Square features air-conditioned rooms with satellite flat-screen TV in the Hell's Kitchen district of New York City.

Location is good. Time Squares is not behind the corner, but within walking distance, like the metro stop. It is true that at night the area might look a bit sketchy, but apart from a couple of harmless noisy drunks, we didn’t have problems. Room was clean, bed was comfortable.

We loved the Museum of the Moving Image.

We loved the Museum of the Moving Image. I am a frequent museum go-er but had never heard of this museum. Since it was right around the corner from where we were staying, my husband and I decided to go -- and were we ever surprised and impressed. We could have spent all day there. Words can't describe how great this place is. If you are a movie or TV buff, this is a must-see. Even if you are not (like me), you should still go. I'm sure you'll be bowled over with this place.
