This is an older 5 story hotel laid out in an L shape with the only elevator located outside our room despite request for a room far from the elevators and an early check in . The hotel was built with the open balcony walkway running across the front of each room and because of this design the noise from maids and quest luggage carts rolling past on the textured concrete surface and noise from the cars directly below made for a very noisy stay . The hotel is clean and well maintained for its age .

We stayed here one night coming home from overseas. the shuttle came when we called about 5 minutes later. we booked our early shuttle for the next morning when we checked in due to the number of people checking in and airline crew. Stayed here for one night as flew in from FL and flight from JFK the next day. Didn’t want to risk bad weather so flew to NYC day before. Was expecting ho hum room but instead it was perfect. the shuttle took an hour to collect from the airport then another hour to get to the hotel via every terminal - i should have booked a taxi. The hotel is OLD and very expensive for what it is which is essentially a roadside motel. the carpets are dirty and as old as the building and smell . The photos on the website do not reflect reality. the receptionist was not friendly, very grumpy and dint care to answers questions. fast food available outside. no restaurants close by. For an airport hotel, id spend the additional $100 and stay at the Marriot or TWA. THIS HOTEL IS NOT AS ADVERTISED and bookings.com should take more time to vet the hotels they represent. Everything about this hotel is stuck in the '70's

Last time I had sewage odors in the room during the night?? Otherwise fine. Not in an area where you can walk to anything. Food choices are Burger King, Popeyes, and IHop. So if just connecting to a flight it is fine. Well worn hotel as it gets a lot of JFK traffic but clean and comfortable.
