EVERYTHING!
One of the top hotels we've stayed in the world!
Can't wait to go back!
We were going to Kanab, also known as Little Hollywood,...
We were going to Kanab, also known as Little Hollywood, because Gunsmoke was filmed in the area. Part of the original set is visible today outside of town, although it is falling down. The main street of Kanab is lined with markers with information about various actors and actresses that were in Kanab to make movies, particularly in the Western heyday. The Parry Hotel where many of the actors stayed displays pictures of these guests, many autographed. There is a free Little Hollywood Museum that has a few movie set remains and props that will take about 15 minutes to see. Kanab seemed like it would be a good hub for visiting Bryce, Zion, the Grand Canyon, and several state parks. Also, there is a pharmacy in Kanab. Pharmacies are super spread out in the area.

I quiet and pleasant town.
I quiet and pleasant town. Perfect for day excursions to Zion or Bryce. There is easy to difficult hikes right in the area. Food was good. The hospitality is fantastic. My two favorites: Adria and Shannon from Adria's Restaurant.

Kanab is a nice little tourist town in a great location.
Kanab is a nice little tourist town in a great location. I've done three great guided hiking tours while here (Peekaboo slot canyon, South Coyote Butte, White Pocket) that I will never forget. Plus several wonderful national parks in the area. My complaint is a shortage of restaurants that serve breakfast. Also no bars, but alcohol is available in restaurants.

Two nights in Kanab was about right to sightsee local attractions like the sand dunes and hike to the dinosaur tracks. Convenient home base for adventures in Paris canyon and other outstanding landscapes.

We enjoyed the stay very much.
We enjoyed the stay very much. The location was perfect for accessing the National Parks. Enjoyed learning the history of the area and how many movies and TV shows were filmed there. The pictures of all the celebrities at the motel brought a lot of nostalgia to us. Not much open on Sunday, so plan accordingly.
It was a really lovely suite and had basically everything we needed. Nice to not need to go out for every meal as there is plenty of cooking equipment and kitchenware provided. Very comfortable bed and good bathroom too!
Fantastic location for getting to Zion National Park and seeing more of this part of Utah. Kanab was a really lovely small town and we spent a morning exploring there too.
It is probably the cheapest place we stayed in the USA, and it was really good for this price. Basic room that has all the stuff needed for a one night stay. The owner is super friendly, we had a really great conversation with him. The breakfast was not mentioned in the description but you can grab coffee, some fruits and pastry in the morning, it was a nice surprise. Totally recommended!
My favorite thing about the room was the awesome mattress! The pillows were pretty good too comparatively. I also liked the retro look, the great robes and the little extras like Q-tips. The lady who owns it is terrific and the breakfast stuff was great too. I liked that the cable TV wasn't cheap and minimal and their website is fantastically full of information.
We felt very comfortable in this lovingly, comfortably and very practically furnished room with kitchen. The operators are warm and accommodating, which provides even more feel-good moments. For us, the Flagstone was a place where we wanted to stay longer and come back again and again. If Kanab, then the Flagstone :)! Absolute recommendation!
Ok Hampton Inn situated in a good location in Kanab. Nice view but small windows with pull down shades that can get wonky.
Nothing really special as no balconies or landscaping. No music or ambience. There is an indoor pool which kind of grossed me out, but there were some people that seemed to enjoy it. Breakfast was meh.
We love staying at Perrys Lodge when we are in Kanab. Great location. Can walk to a beautiful park just up the street. Can walk to dinner or explore the downtown area of Kanab. Rooms are always clean. The hotel has a lot of history. It is like a step back in time. Very nostalgic. The staff are always helpful and friendly.
One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at!! Cute as it can be, squeaky clean, super comfortable and all staff members absolutely delightful to interact with. Breakfast was impecable and delicious; coffee, tea and water available for guests 24/7. The Sego restaurant inside the hotel is definitely a MUST!!
The hotel was clean and had a modern interior. We felt safe. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. The breakfast was very typical for the US: meaning no fresh vegetables, mainly processed foods packed with sugar. but they had a few fresh fruit and an oatmeal. Overall a good stopover for us.
The first guy that checked us in, and the pressure of the shower were the best this hotel had to offer. The breakfast wasn't bad and the lady's that cooked it deserve a raise. They were exceptional and very kind.
Beautiful property inside and out!
Every staff member was super friendly and very helpful! Very dog friendly property! Walking distance to many restaurants and lots of fun things to do nearby!
