Beautifully decorated and friendly, efficient staff
Albuquerque is the biggest city in New Mexico in the USA and home to the International Balloon Fiesta during October. Rich in history, this beautiful destination has Pueblo Revival-style architecture with Sandia Mountains in the background.
Popular from the Bugs Bunny cartoon phrase, ‘I knew I should’ve taken that left turn at Albuquerque’, this metropolitan place is crossed by the Rio Grande River. Travellers should not miss the city’s old town with the 18th-century buildings, narrow streets and cosy restaurants serving Mexican dishes.
Lush in greenery, Albuquerque features the Rio Grande Botanic Garden and the Rio Grande Zoo. You can take the Sandia Peak Tramway and enjoy the panoramic views of the city, the mountains and the surrounding areas.
The Albuquerque International Sunport is located 6.3 km away and serves Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Booking.com will help you find the right hotel, motel or inn in Albuquerque and the nearby towns of Rio Rancho, Mesa Village and Alameda.
We absolutely loved our trip to Albuquerque! We took a hot air balloon ride, spent time in Old Town, did a bike tour and tried to soak in all that Albuquerque had to offer in the few days we were there!!

We were only able to stay a single night. We look forward to returning to Albuquerque to explore the area. We were able to dine in the Old Town area and walk around a bit, but there is much more to the city. Next time!

Wonderful part of NM but you have to watch the neighborhoods you go to in the city itself. It is a wonderful home base for traveling around northern NM as it is less expensive than Santa Fe. Great restaurants like El Patron and Flying Star and don't miss Old Town or the BioPark. Its nice East/West street orientation makes is easy to get around and both 40 and 25 are good roads.

Beautiful. So much to do.
Beautiful. So much to do. Sandia Tramway and dinner was great. World Balloon was breathtaking.
Flamenco dinner and show was amazing. We came by train from Kansas. It was like stepping back in time. Wonderful fun.
Location of this hotel is convenient with quick access to/from the highway, and close to shopping and many places to eat. Breakfast is excellent. Their automatic pancake maker is even better than a waffle machine! Staff is very friendly! Josh was especially helpful when I switched to a different room with a quieter fan. Beds are comfortable, and there is plenty of hot water!
Location, location, location. This place is close to tons of restaurants, shopping and right down the street from old town. Literally within walking distance, less than a mile. Beds are super comfortable, rooms are large, fridge and microwave in room. Nice desk in the room as well. I usually stay here when in Albuquerque. Ken at the front desk was outstanding.
I was very pleased with this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were large and clean. I particularly liked the decor of the room and bedding, it felt very comfortable and homey. Also, it is close to many nice restaurants. I recommend the Sandia Peak Inn for anyone staying over in Albuquerque.
Very grateful for shuttle to/from the airport. We could walk to several restaurants and got good recommendations from the staff. The rooftop bar was nice (amazing pretzels!!!). The courtyard area was pretty and the room itself was comfortable and spacious. Nice touch to have coffee in the hallway at 6am.
The room was nice and large. Very comfortable for our family of 4. Breakfast was pretty good and our girls enjoyed making waffles each day. Best of all, the hotel was close to the attractions we wanted to see - the NM Museum of Natural History and Old Town Albuquerque. (Also close to ABQ Bio Park.)
I paid 4 times the normal rate because of ballon fiesta in Albuquerque, and woke up to bugs on my bed. The bathroom was not very clean and the phone in the room has most of the buttons removed. Overall the room was only worthy of 2 star hotel room. Wonder how it is a 4 star hotel.
Uptown Albuquerque location close to major freeways and restaurants. Ample parking and a very nice lobby complement this very clean hotel. Staff was friendly and accommodating w Covid protocols adhered to. Nice place to wait out a winter storm.Pet friendly is a plus for us
The motel is completely remodeled but left some of the old Route 66 vibe. The location is fantastic (close to the Old town) and the rooms are spotless. We also loved the dining in the plaza area near the hotel - great place for a drink and some food before exploring.
The property was in a good location for airport and car rental drop off. The hotel staff couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful.. They took us twice to car rental and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone
The breakfast & coffee was good. I really appreciated it. And, the bed was very comfortable. The location is ideal for me as I have stayed at this motel in 2018, and 2022 and have got to know the Menaul Street area of Albuquerque quite well.
The location. It was essentially walking distance from the airport. In fact, we walked back to the hotel after dropping off our rental car. There is also a pub restaurant about a block away from the hotel
I really wanted to like this hotel. It had a "funky" vibe in Old Town Albuquerque. The room was nicely appointed, bright and clean. The front office was in the hotel bar which was unique.
Everything. Receptionist called to inquiry if I needed anything. Room was immaculate, clean, and looked like it had been recently renovated. Great location, near airport
