A nice place to visit during season, as if you go off season it will be a bit deserted. You have three different regions in Mamaia, one where the fair is, there is a bit crowded but the prices for food are more ok, second is the middle part( here the downside is the bicycle lane that goes right thru the middle of the waking area so you always need to pay attention not to get hit) , where you have some nice restaurants but if you want to go to the water it will take for ever as the beaches where enlarged and the third one is Mamaia Sat where the hotel look a bit nicer, the water is close by, but the prices are the highest.

Family beaches with sun beds and umbrellas for rental are great but you can just put your towel down and swim too. Excellent for evening walks and lots of good music available, like Princess Beach Club and Nuba Club.

Long beaches, large enough the width of the beaches, nice modern buildings....from a distance, all are good! But, come to the closer, try to drive between buildings, big shock! There is no asphalt road, no side walk, nothing, there is no surface clean and green! All you can see, stone, sand, and dust!...Beach sand quality, sea water quality are poor. Restaurants near beaches are not enough and also expensive.

Dirty and dusty, ful of full public trashes, lots if garbage everywhere, the municipality is totally careless for the tourists whi could bring lots of money into this place!!!
Why Mamaia became so abandoned????
Wish, hope and pray for some improvement for the following season...
The location was excellent and the owner is an extremely nice lady, very helpful with everything. Being across the street of Iaki Hotel in Mamaia, you easily arrive to the beach. The view from the window gives nice and peaceful sunsets. A big plus represents the parking that comes with the apartment. The bedsheets are wow, very comfortable after a very sunny day :). I totally recommend this place, I do not have enough stars to give. I will come back with pleasure next summer!!
A very clean hotel right next to Hotel Vega and several beachwear shops. The staff was very polite, professional and incredibly efficient. The windows and walls were thick enough to hear neither the wedding next to the hotel nor the road traffic. The bedsheets were bright white and very crisp and everything was spotless. Excellent buffet breakfast, with scrambled eggs, fried eggs, sausages, salamis, feta, vegetables, etc. Hot water at any hour.
The sunset panorama to the Siutghiol lake is marvelous!
OnPlonge Jr restaurant represents a nice addition, for some it may be more attractive than the hotel itself. Families with kids would be delighted by this place, we always return with pleasure.
With some minor adjustments (a bit more comfy mattress, maybe some variations of the breakfast) I think this hotel could get a 5* rating.
The room. Was extremely clean, clean white sheets that can be changed whenever you want, comfy bed and clean towels every day.
Really friendly staff. Has a pool which you can use and restaurant with again great staff.
Its near the beach and good walking distance to shops and restaurants.
Delicious breakfast, same every day but really good Romanian breakfast.
1) Friendly staff, great cleaning room each day, good location, the mattress of the bed gives you a good sleep.
2) I liked also that was warm and not cold in the room; me, being a person which is not friendly with the cold 😅
3) Traveling with our toddler, I also liked that the hotel has a little playground for kids, outside.
The staff was very friendly. The hotel facilities were just as advertised.
We were especially happy with the AC unit, which helped us sleep during the weekend: on Friday & Saturday night, the beach and surroundings got quite loud well into the morning. Had to close the windows and sleep with the AC on.
Everything was clean, the girls at the reception were very nice, you could buy coffee, sodas, beer, water from there ( a bit expensive, but it's normal). They had a place in front of the hotel where you could enjoy your coffee in the morning. The rooms were clean, spatious and quite soundproof.
The hotel is located on the shore of the Siutghiol Lake, if you request a room with lake view, at a superior level, you can enjoy the sunsets on the lake.
It also has a spa with hammam, sauna, pool, massage and an ice fountain.
Nice large room with a good bed. Hotel looks very nice and well maintained. Balcony very spacious. Own air conditioning in the room. Very fast elevator.
